How do you hack a slot machine to win thousands or millions in a jackpot? Me and my friends live near a casino and don't have a lot of money but the people who run this casino are assholes. How do we pull this off?
YOU CAN'T BECAUSE JEWS PUT BLOCKS ON THE '"WINNING'" SECTIONS
THAT?S WHY NO ONE WINS
YOU HAVE TO DISMANTLE THE GEAR AND REMOVE THE BLOCKS
GOOD FUCKING GOY
PLAY MORE SHEKELS
INTO JEWISH-OWNED CASINOS
I remember hearing the name of one of what i thought was the tibal leaders in New York and it was super jewish. Maybe he was their lawyer or lobbyist like Jack Abramov was.
Or maybe the twelve tribes have interbred with the ...four? Tribes of the iriqois nation.
Do you have a better alternative to communicate during our mission? Walkie talkies look suspicious plus how can we see Steven working the slot machine? He's not very good at descriptions.
>casinos are stealing
No they're not.
I hate this attitude. People need to accept some responsibility for their own actions.
Why aren't you robbing drug dealers instead? It would be easier.
What lol? I've personally won $2k jackpots on slots before (the most you can get here in bars unless you're playing poker and double up a royal flush twice or something). My boss walked out of a bar with $2600 a few weeks ago too when I was there drinking with him. The odds are ridiculously low, and they are generally a waste of money, but to say it never happens is just wrong
But I honestly think you're sol because even if you could "hack" the machine you'd probably have to physically attach something (think a flash drive) and you'd have to do it without security noticing. I think your only hope would be to pose as a maintenence person and trick the pit boss into letting you tinker with a machine(s) or get the casino to somehow buy an already rigged machine
Don't do this to me man...
I'm pretty sure that casino operators would keep the info about their slot machines under pretty close wraps. Needless to say, provided you could get access to a slot machine identical to one used in a certain casino, you could try and configure it yourself.
My guess is that these slot machines are networked in some way, maybe through LAN. If you knew how they connected, you could (in theory) find an exploit to access them, but even then it's unlikely there is a cash out button.
This might be of interest:
as a casino employee, i hope you're planning on robbing a small bar casino or convenience store casino.
you sound like an idiot, so i sincerely doubt that you have any hope of robbing a real casino. and the slot machines now are advanced as fuck.
Are slot machines really random? Or there is an algorithm that goes:
>If todayWeMadeThisMuch > 1,000,000 then
>chancesOfWinning = True
>Else chancesOfWinning = False
Sorry, I only know QBasic language.
most machines aren't even actually worked on by people who work at the casino. companies who supply the machines have their own techs who perform maintenance. the techs in house do little more than cash out jackpots and and occasionally reset the machine or turn it off for the real techs to fix later.
i'm fairly sure that it is pure random. there's little things that vary by machine. some have minigames that if you get, you can play the game and your performance can net you a chunk of cash. and there's games that the longer you play them and the more you hit, it increases your chance to get free spins. i've also heard that the odds of getting a jackpot are higher on the high roller machines ($2-10+ min bet) but i doubt the validity of that.
honestly though, i don't mess with the machines in any way personally, so i don't know with absolute fact.
i can tell you that the casino i work in has well over a thousand cameras, several people constantly watching cameras, and at least 15 armed guards on the floor.
and the surveillance cams are nuts.can read the serial numbers on a bill at 50 yards.
That's what I figured, I'm guessing it provides a higher level of security to know that no one in the casino knows how to fuck with it.
Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if there were gaping vulnerabilities in them since the know-how is pretty limited, and provided you could get your hands on an ATM and inspect it (although that's a pretty big if) you could find something of the sort.
Fuck me, I mean casino. Sorry, I was watching the defcon video.
Although all of the info in this thread is highly speculative and it's unlikely that most people have the means to get a slot machine or know where to start for "hacking." If OP is looking for info on where to start, don't even bother.
You have to have experience in the field for atleast 15 years. You will start to understand the difference between the machines that every company pushes out.
They all have their quirks. Just try it out and see it how goes :)
There was a nice exploit that was fixed just a year ago.
no and no. while i'm fairly certain i'm not divulging any information that would risk my job, still no.
the only chance you have at finding a vulnerability in the slots is working for a major manufacturer. you're honestly better off just robbing someone who got a jackpot in the parking lot.
i don't know, i don't work in las vegas. regardless, you can just go to the casino and look at the machines to find the manufacturer.
security would care, but would you rather be trapped inside the casino full of surveillance and armed guards when you inevitably fail at "hacking" the machine, or would you rather be outside and have all sorts of options when it comes to escape.
it's a bad idea entirely. neither option is good and you're better off robbing a bank.
I'm pretty sure there's a fixed roll sequence that's in the machine and is played for its entire lifetime. It used to wrap back a few times before, but now it's for the slot machine's entire life.
The chances of you being able to hack one of those are really low. You would probably need to reverse engineer one to find an exploit.
You would have an easier time finding a torch and filling up an atm with gas and then igniting it to force open the door.
I work at a restaurant and everytime I see Arabs like u with no money and job gamble every cent they have, some even observe a slot machine for a day to see how many money people throw in and calculate when it should give money. get a job filthy poorfag ur live is worthless.
I just gave a tip if your sad enough to follow it. Just calculate hoe muxh goes in and if a machine is taking money for a long time it will give after a while. Just get a job it will be more profitable and gives more money unless ur un educated fuk
I own a slot machine like the one pictured. You would need physical access to the inside of the machine. This is a nonstarter, really. You'd have to break or pick the lock (very conspicuous), open the front cover (very, very conspicuous), and pull things out until you get to the electronics (very, very, very conspicuous). After that you'd need to probe the electronics and see what happens when you manipulate the hardware. Or while you're inside it you could just start jamming the coins into a bag.
All of this is academic, because in reality the moment you do anything to the lock a pair of pit bosses will scoop you up, bring you to the back room, break your knees, then toss you in a dumpster.
There just isn't a realistic vector of attack here. The best way would be to get a job as a slot machine repairman and bide your time until someone slips up and you get unsupervised access to the innards of one. You could then modify the machine and have a friend go in the next day to get the payout. However, you'd have to have some way to trigger your modification for only that person; if the machine pays out big every time it's played they'll catch on before you can even get to it.
In short, the only practical way to rob a casino is an actual armed robbery, which is also a stupid idea because you will get shot in an instant.
tl;dr go to school and work hard to get money
u are in third world country? If so I am sorry and otherwise get educated. Even so slot machines almost only take money. If you know the slot machine u can maybe calculate and trying to hack it is stupid and show how uneducated u are coz u will get caught. They have alarm if you try to open anything.
That would be less practical than an abortive slot-machine hacking attempt. You'd need extensive capital for machinery and workers (from whom you'd need to keep the heist secret), plan carefully to avoid hitting gas, power, or water lines, and some way to justify your digging.
You could possibly find out where the vault is from a public building plan. Assuming you are able to dig under it, you'll need a demolitions expert to blast through the floor and get in. Basically it would be Die Hard With a Vengeance, except you'd probably kill yourself before getting underway.
Successful casino robberies are rare as fuck. There are much better targets than hardened vaults deep in well-secured casinos.
Seriously this. There's always a bunch of chinks counting cards at my local casino.
Went there with my mates after a college exam to vent out and a chink was ripping off everyone at the blackjack.
I work in a small california casino and our machines are intentionally not in a LAN or anything like that. The only way to do what you want is to steal the entire machine or break it open in the middle of the casino. It's impossible to trick them because the random seed for every machine is different, and changes daily.
Find a casino some where out in remote areas, any old pub as well that has a old slot machine, there is a device (I'm sure you'll know what its called.) that can open a car window by sliding down the glass. Well these "devices" can also be used to trick an old atm into either thinking its had a hole bunch of money put in it or dumping all the coins. happy hunting those slot machines are hard to find
