I don't really have a use for it. The Moto X Play right now is 320EUR while Nexus 5X was 400EUR.
If anyone here had them both, which one would you recommend? My budget initially was 300...
Ah, sorry. I'm not a native english speaker and i didn't even think about "that"
I think OnePlus One is better than the X in some things as Battery (3100mah vs 2525mah), internal storage (although no micro sd) a/b/g/n/ac WiFi (even 5ghz i think), lots of custom roms and 5,5" screen which isn't really a "pro" to me.
On the other side the OnePlus X has an Amoled 5", has 16gb + micro sd, b/g/n wifi (2,4ghz only), slightly cheaper and looks cooler but has no backlight for the android keys (although you can use on screen buttons)
I'd get the OPO probably if it was for me, but it's out of stock on their website. I'm actually considering buying the X or waiting some more months to see if something else comes out
Putting this out there.
My V10 fingerprint sensor would not work in a case. You had to be touching the metal on the sides. Lg said it was a software issue
Verizon finally released an update and it actually fixed the problem. Supposedly Att also released an update for the same fixes.
Only in the sense that removable storage is. It's user specific.
I don't like using Bluetooth for music when driving, since I have a high quality noise canceling headset. Because of this I would not buy a phone without a headphone jack. I could deal with it not being standard.
What's a good android phone that isn't a giant phablet? I'm looking for something comparable in size to iphone 4s or iphone 5s. Something that will easily fit in a pocket even after adding a protective case to it. Something easily used one-handed.
5" or less
1080p, 720p if >5"
curved back, or at least slightly curved sides
are there any when disregarding the s5? I don't want to get it because amoled is pretty fucking horrible. don't want a device without a curved back because I find them uncountable to hold
Why phone fell in toilet. The digitizer is fucked (ghost touch/erratic touchscreen). I was thinking about replacing the digitizer, but since the phone is old already, I'd rather get a new cheat chinese phone or a tablet. My budget is around $50+-20. I don't use the phone to make calls, just watch anime/read manga/read news/browse 4ch. Any good recommendations? Preferably one with a large expansion slot to keep all my downloads/porn. Tablet or Phone, whichever.
Do these extended batteries work or is it a scam?
$70 is pretty limiting but there are a few options in your range.
hope you like Windows Mobile.
ah, you want a tablet. I was looking at phones.
You can get an Asus Zenpad 7.0 for $100.Maybe cheaper if you can find it used.
>SD Card up to 128GB
>800x1200 7" screen
>Intel Atom Quad Core Processor
During this year I want to buy a new phone, preferably a former flagship in the price range of 350 bucks.
It should have water resistance and a screen from 5" upwards.
Should I just wait until the Z3 has dropped down to that price or are what are other good alternatives?
I don't really like the design of the S5, especially the cap that covers the USB port bothers me a lot.
Also I have no problem with secondhand.
The 1+1 is a really great phone. Ireally liked the screen-turned-off gestures, the long lasting battery and great camera. Only the built-in loudspeaker was pretty average, but that's usal in most phones anyway unless it's an HTC or Sony. Had it for a year and then some sandnigger stole it, one of the saddest days of my life.
Contract runs out at the end of februari. Can get a device upgrade now.
There's some pretty good phones out there right now, but on the other hand, the snapdragon 820 phones will be out (or at least announced) RIGHT as my contract runs out.
I feel like i'd be fine with a 6P, or a note 5 or something, but will I be kicking myself when these phones come out with much better performance, battery life and temps? what's the smart decision here..
limited selection by
>5" screen or larger
>water resistant/Splash resistant (IP58/67/68)
So I want a new phone because my Nexus 4 is starting to fail.
>Physical QWERTY keyboard in landscape orientation
>At least 720p screen, preferably 4.5-4.7", no more than 5"
>Don't give a shit about OS as long as it has a decent ssh client and dropbox available
>Decent camera would be a plus, but don't care much
How do I accomplish this, anons ?
Guys I'm really close to buying myself a 6P but I keep thinking, are we literally weeks away from a load of new phones appearing?
I'm sure the galaxy S7 is gonna be out soon, not sure about new LG phones but either of those would be pretty interesting.
Don't really wanna end up with gimped hardware when the next gen stuff is so close.
best phone for €100-150?
is pic related a good option?
If you've set up the fingerprint scanner and it can unlock everything the iris scanner can then it's extra security is a bit redundant.
I guess they'll keep the things they can unlock separate, maybe the iris scanner will be used for mobile payments or something.
Iris scanners have been rumoured several times over the years though.
The latest Moto G is fine. Zenphone 2 and Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 are better, but marginally.
I'm not sure how likely it is that Lenovo will leave the existing Moto phones in the dust.
Used to have an old phone that got fucked up.I'm on verizon and have to stay with them for another year but I don't have a phone. The insurance would be about 150 for the old phone. I'm looking for an upgrade. A friend had an extra at t phone (lgg3) which would be perfect if it was not at t. What's the best way about getting a phone like the lgg3 or better onto verizon without having to spend much more than 150 or just selling the lgg3.
I just read the rest of your post. The Idol 3 seems to be the only decent phone in that price range that operates on Band 12, but it's 5.5". They have a 4.7" version but it doesn't use the same bands.
