Are there any /g/ approved launchers for Android or are they all a fat waste of time? Talking of launchers in the regular store since I don't wanna bother to root and all that shit.
I've been running 4.4 for a couple years now and it's getting a little boring and sometimes lags a tad bit too much.
I have pic related so you can put it in perspective.
>paying 3 digits of dollar for a cheap lagdroid device
Literally why anon, you could've bought the best phone on the market for 99USD
It's the Nokia N9 with Meego, a GNU/Linux distribution with really great and optimised software, years on no other phone has reached the pinnacle of it's revolutionary Swipe UI
I remember a thread where /g/tards and the topic was "why do mobile devices need so much ram? whats the point of 8gbram on a phone"
I wanted to believe the OP was a joke but there were atleast 10 serious questions in that thread
>not the nokia n950
lmao are you even trying
Doesn't Cyanogen require rooting? That's the type of thing I meant. Probably got my terminology wrong.
Why would you want camera samples? I can tell you it's not particularly excellent but I don't use it all that much so it does its job fine. Have a random pic I took of a friend's tablet running OoT.
>btw on topic - nokia z launcher is pretty good
Holy shit, how did I never know about this? Diehard nova user here, I'm actually really impressed by how different yet functional this launcher is. Definitely gonna give it a shot for a little bit.
Nova's what everyone uses for a good reason. It's functional and fast and good but a little boring. Trying out the Nokia one just because it's a bit 'fresher' but I have a feeling I'll go back to Nova before too long.
Try lightning launcher
It has a ridiculous amount of features, many of them very unique. For example, you can freely scale and rotate items and you can scroll both horizontally and vertically.
There is a learning curve, but you can do some pretty amazing things with it
I took that pic anon. This is probably the closest I have to a landscape.
If anyone is witty enough you can guess where this is but I doubt it tbqh.
Wrong. Not even close in fact.
You owe me $100.
The only reason I have to use an alternative launcher is the vertical scrolling in the app drawer, but for some reason in Nova and Apex it's choppy, and if I'm going to use horizontally scrolled cards I might as well stick to the stock LG launcher.
the only reason i use an alternative launcher is because i want an app drawer. the stock one is a shit and doesnt have one, all apps are on the home screen. well im kinda at fault myself for buying a ching chong huawei
