Not sure what private trackers are all about?
Check out the wiki and update it yourself if you want more instead of complaining like a fucking faggot. https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Private_trackers

Remember the following:
>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before.
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned.
>most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time and you should just interview
>God damn AB denied my app...
Why do you want to get in, I have an invite.
AB has some manga, but it isn't the best source because they don't allow currently running series to be uploaded unless it's 5 years old.
Then how did you fail the app?
Seriously it's super easy if you go into any sort of details about what anime/manga you like.
The only way to fail is by not writing anything or by choosing things like SAO or Attack on titan as your all time favorite animes.
>going to have to beg in their irc for an invite
This. It's not different from being officially recruited, though. You post a couple of proofs, name your favorite movies/directors (I didn't even had to do this, after I showed my CG and KG profiles) and that's it.
Well there have been 300 new members in the last week.
Hell there have been 5 or 10 new members added in the last hour or two.
Try the app again with more thorough replies. If you still dont get in I dont know what to tell you besides good luck elsewhere.
can't be arsed finding the rules, but it's a size thing, they allow for one smaller encode plus one other which gets the bitrate it needs. this usually means one smaller scene encode which comes out first, than the later larger p2p encode will exist along it. occasionally the p2p encode will come out the same or even smaller than the scene encode, and then there's no reason to keep both, so scene gets trumped. see the martian 720p for a recent example.
>I have no idea why you are bitching about scene encodes getting trumped. Because you can't cross seed them now?
They're the easiest thing to upload desu senpai.
Which wiki post explains what releases are allowed per torrent?
> The goal of the revised x264 rules is to have at least one high quality, comprehensive rip per resolution category (SD/720p/1080p). In context of this article, a 'high quality rip' refers to a rip that meets the minimum encoding settings (below), is encoded using a recent version of the x264 codec, is user friendly (contains all available subtitles within the MKV container, contains chapters, contains any additional commentary tracks) and is ripped from the latest source disc. Both SD and HD high quality rips may be trumped at any time across equal video/audio quality if there is an available rip that is significantly more user friendly. High quality rips strive for transparency - source vs. encode screenshots are strongly encouraged.
>The goal of the revised x264 rules is NOT for all high quality rips to trump all lesser quality rips, only that they are each reserved a separate slot within a resolution category and may coexist, and combined, provide options for both seeder retention and high movie quality. Naturally, rips with any kind of defect (torrents marked 'Trumpable') will always be trumped regardless of swarm size.
>I have no idea why you are bitching about scene encodes getting trumped.
Just trying to trigger /ptg/'s autism a little. I prefer p2p encodes too desu
>Because you can't cross seed them now?
Nah I don't cross seed.
AHD scares me, each film has like 20 releases and I don't know which one to get. Then the comments and forums get very technical too.
It doesn't really seem like the actual film is the focus of the tracker.
>unironically linking filthy frank
are you 12 years old?
Hahhaa Lolzers! haha so funny XD good meme HahaXD lol so randum
What curry trackers have you been on?
It's the rule on any of the big ones.
>Standards too high
Like most people said before, don't mention normie shit, and explain with at least a line and a half why you like this or that anime, that's how i got in
But maybe it was also because i was more interested in OSTs than the animes in AB
>1337-autism from AB it's not like them.
AB is perfectly happy to accept new users who have never used private trackers before as long as they have a serious interest in anime/manga.
If you aren't fairly big into anime, then yea it can be hard to get in. But as long as you're into anime it's super easy and comfy as fuck.
Nigga look up some anime recommendation charts with classical/obscure series and copy paste some synopsis of them.
If you write down on the app about normie crap like the shit /a/ likes you're gonna get rekt.
>It's hard cause I'm not a degenerate hikikomori weeb trash with no life. :'(
You don't have to be honestly, I started on AB only slightly into anime, just talked about my fav. non-normie animes. If you have watched 10-15 things that aren't normie shit, you'll have plenty of things to talk about that will get you past the application
>Everybody should be forced to seed for 7 days afterwards.
Why, especially if seedboxes have taken over that torrent?
I think so but I permaseed everything except the individual episodes.
>Why, especially if seedboxes have taken over that torrent?
Because seedbox users are the most likely to remove a torrent due to lack of space on their paid storage plan.
I will take a user with 8TB of hard drive space and a symmetrical high speed connection anyday.
>Dude leech/seed that's all I want.
No one is saying otherwise.
But the site has a usercap, we aren't interested in normies logging in every 2-3 months to grab 3 or 4 things and then fucking off until the next season.
Bakabt and Nyaa are going to have 90% of what you want anyway, it just is gonna be a bit slower.
Either shut the fuck up and re-apply for AB with proper responses, or get over it and realize you just aren't going to get in.
As the creator of /ptg/ I think these threads have run they're course
Shut it down lads
Ohhh le me rub yo post on my nips.
You lie like the devil.
You've been posting on /ptg/ for 5 years? congrats.
I dunno, the seeding is pretty good at BTN.
I'm still seeding Big Bang episodes from last September and they all still have about 500 seeds.
Out of about 150 season packs I'm seeding, I'm only the single seeder on 2 of them.
I downloaded 3 obscure doc seasons this time last year and no season ever had more than 10 seeders, Now the 3 seasons have 7, 8 and 9 seeders.
>any invite threads on (insert shitty tracker here)'s forums?
>there are actual retards on /ptg/ who think those shitty open signup trackers will get them into PTP and BTN
fucking love how retarded some people are
Who the fuck is https://twitter.com/ramonsbatista
My sides weren't ready anon.
Ay there Fryman, how's about you hook me up with one of those invites to BTN?
>Be a new user on wcd, got my invite right after the freeleech tokens
>grab Blackstar V0 and FLAC
Please also provide links (not screenshots) to accounts you may have on other private trackers.
What is this? Is something like this:
Post your current NEVER.EVER. will get list of trackers:
What do people think of bitmetv.org?
I joined this long ago but I stopped using it after I got BTN.
Is it worth building up buffer/ranks there for bitme? I don't even know if they are affiliated, I assume yes since they have similar names.
100% unaffiliated, it's a shit gopnik scam
pic related, their sysop
AB has open applications, though if you have that many proofs I or someone else in the thread can toss you an invite. AB isn't too autistic when it comes to private tracker rules
>audio out of sync by 4.8 seconds
>3/4 the scenes cut out
>3 different yet somehow equally shit watermarks
>bad selection due to all the takedowns
whatever, stay frigid
they used to be open signup but shut down entirely some months/seasons ago due to a small security breach, as such there's no invite system/recruitment thread etc
they keep hinting they'll open invites soon but no one really knows when
sure thing. keep jerking off to your 240p missionary-only sex with no foreplay
>sure thing. keep jerking off to your 240p missionary-only sex with no foreplay
It wouldn't be difficult, but thank goodness i had relationships with women in my life so i can just access those memories :^)
>finally get past ab application
>fire up mratio so i can get some buffer
>got like 200gb across maybe 20-30 series
> 4 hours later i get banned
shit, now i have to get a new IP and apply again, didn't expect them to catch me so fast. took me like 4 tries to get past the application process too ._.
how retarded can you be... AB is the comfiest tracker already, you don't need to cheat, all 1080p and all ISO/VOB/M2TS are freeleech every day.
After a month of being on AB I had over 500GB buffer... Just use the site the way it's meant to be used and it's super easy to survive.
>took me like 4 tries to get past the application process too
this is like the 3rd post i've seen of failing the app in this thread
I'm not on there so how does one fail it?
not having knowledge of anime or something?
>have only 25kb/sec upload speed tops cheating is the only way i can survive in private trackers
Then it's good you were banned so quickly. Leechers who don't provide anything back need to be removed as quickly as possible.
Fuck you for even trying.
Updated the wiki some more. Do you think we should add a guide on how to apply? I keep repeating that everything is trivial because I never had a problem getting accepted but I realize that more people are failing these days, perhaps they tightened their standards or something?
>but I realize that more people are failing these days, perhaps they tightened their standards or something?
if you're referring to AB applications, no they haven't raised the standards, there are over 2000 open spots on AB right now, they are letting people in like never before, over 300 in the last week.
Just dont be retarded on the application, it honestly isn't hard if you write more than a few sentences per answer. Just write a decent bit and you're fine.
