This website, much less this board, hasn't had any hackers in forever. Why does the media push he narrative so hard when this website is benign in every aspect?
But that's a good thing.
People think we're scum, so they won't come by and shit this place up even more.
It's already bad enough that we have like 5 boards full of normalshits complaining about normal people problems all day.
We've actually done a ton of damage to websites and companies but most of it is pitifully insignificant so news won't cover that.
Some of us could bring corporations to their knees if we all banded together but the days of being a 1337 h4x0r are over. We have lives now (at least we pretend we do) and don't want 5-10 years in the slammer + big fines.
Somewhere around 2011 4chan became "too cool" to do any funny shit. The face of anonymous has long since been hijacked by social justice warriors who want to use it for benign protests. Not for the lulz but for the social media points. If you combine this with the departure of all the funny, original, and smart people from 4chan to other parts of the internet you can see why this website is the turd it is today. Right now the popular voice on 4chan is too cool to actually give a shit about anything so it's going to stew in it's own fart cloud until the current owner sells the domain to godaddy or some shit.
Omg like same. The other day my friend left his phone unlocked, so I opened snapchat and took a picture of myself, captioned it "hacked by the best <3", and put it on her story lollllllll
>major attack on the election servers
>they don't work for a day or so
>TV anchor: Who could be behind this?
>some netsec "expert" or a "hacker insider" is presented - he wears a hoodie and his voice is distorted so it doesn't give away his identity
>most of the attacks have been coming from X and X country, the hackers, who are probably from the Anonymous hacking group used something called a "botnet", which infects ordinary computers and uses computers which have been hacked to attack their target
>on screen - rapid terminal scrolling; server lights ; a weird audacity shot (???)
this shit happens every time something big is hacked; shit is no longer funny now..
do you know how society works?
its just like that anon, people are retarded.
just fucking google hackers... you will find pics of people in front of laptops or computers with their face covered as a alluh snackbar terrorist.
its to form an idea of fear, and to avoid interest, back then they used to cover everything, and give lots of details, but then people felt empathy, or feel like it was good or cool, so they did it to, and instead of scaring people, they encourage them to do something.
now, they give a few details, and the same pasta, to just anounce that IT can hack your shit, so never calm arround tech experts, they are evil, salesman are the good ones... goy....
>Journalists are seriously the world's dumbest motherfuckers. Hype, fear and sex is all they give a shit about since at least the 1980s.
They give a fuck about those cause that's what sells for ignorant fucks which are the 95% of the population.
>Someone will use the Windows 10 Botnet to bring down some server after they find the backdoor(s).
