Not angered, just have a good analogy. Of course, buying a pre-built is EASIER than building a computer from scratch. It's also EASIER to rely on fast food and microwavable hot pockets than to make your own food by hand.
To be fair, he makes some valid points. Self-building is not always necessary, and if you just need a standard PC, buying a Dell or something is usually cheaper than self-building.
ideally it'd be better for a layman to go to a computer parts shop and describe their requirements to them for them to piece something together for them
that way you don't end up with something oddly balanced for that persons' usage
like 16G ram in a facebook machine, or a low end gpu in a gaming machine
