Downgrade Firefox back to 42.0. It fixed the issue for me, caused youtube to stop freezing and breaking the pause button, and also caused youtube to show me 6 gorillion notifications that I didn't get before, and probably more but it's only been 5 minutes. What the fuck are Mozilla doing?
