So i was looking at a desktop thread when i ran into this little gem, i saw it was with windows so i wanted to know how do i can get my desktop like this, i already got cygwin but what do i get now? Any help /g/
Why dont you just ASK in the fucking DESKTOP thread to the GUY who actually MADE it instead of making a new thread and making it look like they're samefagging about themselves? Why do you need to make a new thread?
>expecting people to give things to him
I guess what you're trying to say is that people can't ask questions anymore? Fuck off faggot. He's promoting discussion AND trying to learn at the same time. He's doing a lot better than you are.
I guess maybe you're too thick to think that maybe he did ask and maybe the guy didn't reply.
That's okay though. Let's just grab our pitchforks and provide nothing to this thread so that OP gets nowhere and you get to feel superior because you learned things the hard way since you're too afraid to ask questions.

Fuck you :')
There are literally multiple explanations in the desktop thread as to what he's using. He could've asked there. If he did, he already got far more help than he implied. This isn't a personal tech support forum, there are a million resources already explaining this, like >>52225509
OP, I just want you to know that desktop was created by a 20-something NEET who has no life goals and will probably kill himself by the age of 30 because this is the only thing he cares about, ricing his desktop and having sexual ERP chats with other people on the desktop threads.
>implying anyone else knows the answer
>implying there aren't more specific and on topic places to ask for help
>implying he couldn't ask the guy directly
>implying this is on topic for /g/
>wasting valuable catalog space and pushing lower bumped threads down the pages that would be more on topic than this for tech support help
are there actually people who think this looks good?
people complains with win 10 design were "it was made with paint bucket tool", OPs pic is nothing but plain white boxes with black text on them, how do you call that a "design"? And don't get me started on actual usability.
but anon, using the keyboard is so autistic of you! how could you possibly do something he doesnt do, and more efficiently? must have autism, if you dont move your mouse up to the top of a window just to drag it somewhere.
But that's all relative. If your hand is already on the keyboard, of course it's easier to use keyboard commands to close the window. But if your hand is on the mouse, the mouse will always be faster.
Funny how most people don't tell OP how to do it.
Even under linux (I am a fucking noob) I searched like 3 or 4 months how to rice the desktop (just sometimes like 10 minutes from time to time) and didn't find anything. The damn solution was just to install awesome-wm and give it a little bit color in one of the configs.
Seriously it made me feel like an idiot for magically not knowing it (now that I know it) but it really is a problem that we don't have good ricing guides for people that have never heard of compositors (or what that actually is) and WM/DE things or how to even rice and use them. You are pretty much fucked if you -for example- set up debian with any wm and try to remove that and install another one if you don't know anything about it at all.
LOL but now I know how to do it. I learned some things doing this...
I read an Arch wiki on WM starting with openbox then I read i3 documentation and learned how to them when I finally done a sucessful first rice I was completely done, said and I quote "Why the fuck am I doing this, it isn't worth it and its not comfortable for me" then I went back to Mate because gnome 2 is great in my opinion
Thank you, enjoy your stay
I have no idea how to make a good rice on Windows and I am at awe with the dedication some ricers do to get windows looking like that. I rice my Linux i3 desktop and have made it look like how I want it. With no gaps even though people object to that. It seems easier on Linux because no design is forced down your throat.
