Make a second screen with everything else on it, but only put your music widget on the screen on the left. Put a dark transparent background behind the widget and have it extend to the left edge of the screen (or both sides if you want it to overlap everything)
Go to Nova settings>Desktop>Scroll effect then scroll down to "Wipe". You'll then have a swipe activated music player. I'll try to make a WebM tutorial if you need/want one.

You may have to enable widget overlap if you want it to overlap any widgets or icons.

Does anyone know of a way I can make a music widget for Power Amp that can utilizes the "Caviar Dreams" font? Power Amp's widget does not have it by default, and any other font will look weird.

With Zooper by placing the widget on top of a duplicate page. I really want to put a music player in the blank space but I can't get the font I want in Zooper, but I know it's in KLWP. I just can't figure out swipe effects yet.

The swipe effects aren't from klwp, they're from the launcher. You go to settings and make the homepage transition "wipe"

Also, I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying. The only problem you're having is that you can't get the font on your music widget, right? You can make a custom widget using something like minimalistic Text or even use a stock widget and change your phone's system font

I use the wipe setting for my weather widget already. I'm pretty sure there's a way to get the same effect in KLWP though, which is what I'm trying to do. KLWP has the font that I want, so that's why is rather do it in KLWP.

Here's a quick KLWP tutorial, watch the WebM.
Steps in video:
>Add shape
>Make the shape a rectangle (I didn't do this just because I didn't have time)
>Adjust size
>Add another shape
>Make it a rectangle
>Go to the FX tab
>Make it a "Blurred Background"
>Dim the blurred background
>Go back to the size adjustment tab and adjust the size
>Adjust the position so that it is centered in the white rectangle.
>Hit the save button
It'll take more time than it took me in the WebM, I just wanted to move quickly because I didn't want to hit the file size limit.

You can definitely make a wipe using the "scroll" animation, but as far as I know KLWP only takes single touches as inputs, so you can't actually swipe with your finger

I believe there's a way to link tasker to KLWP to add multiple touches but I've never tried it

Oh wait. I think made a mistake, I don't think you can make a music widget in Zooper. Use PowerAmp instead, or if you want to use the stock music widgets that's fine too.

Pretend that the two images you made are two different pages. Set the image on the left to be your home screen, then put everything that's on your home screen on your second screen. Then, add a music widget to your second screen (Power Amp is a good music app that lets you customize its widgets). After you do that, set your page scroll animation to "Wipe".

Might not want to put your address online, anon. Anyway, it looks pretty nice. Personally, I don't care too much for huge music widgets unless I'm in the app, but to each their own. You should remove the app labels. You should also get an icon pack and use a different icon for your folders.

Alright, I put way too much time in this. I've changed my pape, and I got a music widget and a weather widget in the sliding thing with the font I like. I also added a fade out background blur effect for when I drag the widgets over.

There are tutorials out there, but I've only even looked at one to figure out how to get the album art on my widget in KLWP, so I can't really reccomend any specific tutorials or guides. There's a subreddit for kustom that has a bunch of guides, but ya know, we're all too cool to go there so forget I even mentioned that.

Just try to get an idea of what you want your rice to look like, then try to make it. KLWP and Zooper are your friends. If you can't figure it out, ask around here or Google it.

Pro tips: If there's an overlapping element, there are probably multiple pages. You can hide or reassign icons to folders (or apps for that matter) by holding them, taping edit, then tapping the icon image.

Make two pages. Go to KLWP and for anything you want on the second page, go to that item's "Animation" tab. Tap the add animation button at the top right. Make it "BG Scroll" and use the default setting for it. Make sure that your background is set to scroll in Nova settings. That should be it.
