Ross William Ulbricht did nothing wrong
the FBI are bastards
>>
who the fuck are you and why have you been posting this poster all over my school
>>
he did literally everything wrong.

hope you got that dead man's switch set up.
>>
He kept notes... a fucking diary... on a criminal conspiracy he was running.

There's a special kind of retard out there.. a retard that's so stupid that he actually thinks he's smart... and he's one of them.

>Ulbricht tries to hire a hitman
>He actually hires a federal agent
>He posts his GMAIL address on forums looking for bitcoin devs
>He uses a laptop at a public library

I'm surprised he didn't get v& sooner
Those are some pretty retarded mistakes
>>
RIG, Mr. Weed Man.

Rest in Gange.
>>
>>46528398
he didn't do shit except facilitate the sale of items that should be entirely legal if the government minded its own fucking god damn buisness
>>
>>46528443
>cp, Narcotics, unlicensed Guns, Child sex slaves should be legal

Fucking kill yourself, and quickly please.
>>
>>46528443
and attempt to get his co-conspirators murdered.
>>
HSBC was initially set for the opium trade after the Opium Wars and in this decade it was laundering money for Mexican cartels. How is DPR worse than HSBC executives who should be in prison.
>>
>>46528499

He didn't mean any harm, they just couldn't handle the banter
>>
Didn't he solicit assassins to have some people killed?

And before anyone says "well they didn't go through with it", being terrible at hiring people to kill people doesn't exactly constitute safe harbor from the law.
>>
>>46528497
actually, the silk road prohibited sale of captives and child pornography, so basically, you don't know shit

and yes, unlicensed guns and narcotics should be legal, the government lacks both the ethical, and constitutional right to ban them
>>
>>46528554
He did, twice. The first time the would-be assassin never delivered, and the second time it was a fed.

Sounds like the guy knew his shit, amirite?
>>
>>46528497
the narcotics should be, everything else shouldnt
>>
>>46528571
Seriously after the first time I would be freaking out about whether I had just been caught in a sting. Then again, it's impossible to put my mind in that of a criminal. I couldn't imagine letting an idea like Silk Road getting as far as it did, so I couldn't even fathom being in any of the situations he found himself in.
>>
>>46528519
HSBC safeguards bribe money for politicians. That's why DPR is in prison and the HSBC execs are safe.
>>
>>46528562
Okay the captives was out of my ass, but they did traffic CP.

>narcotics should be legal
Anything that isn't pot shouldn't be legal any argument against that is stupid.

>inb4 you mention another minor drug that maybe shouldn't be

Any heavy shit with no medical use should be illegal, no 'moral' bullshit can get around that

>unlicensed guns

Yes and no. While i believe everyone ahs the right to own one, and would want a way to get one if they try to take them away, Having traceless/paperless weapons is used for nothing but killing innocent people and nignogs shooting at eachother. Guns should be legally fucking owned. People who get them illegally 90% of the time use them to take peoples lives.
>>
>>46528656
So you are saying that people who have a drug problem should be in jail, not rehab?
>>
>>46528601
Well you have to remember that criminals will always try to push the envelope with their crimes, and Ulbricht probably got really cocky from all the cash he was roping in and the fact that he got away with it for so long.

Hubris can be a very sobering thing
>>
>>46528708
HUrr durr

You know what i mean.

Like i said, anything with no Medical Purpose should be illegal

Drugs used for rehabbing (methadone and whatever the hell, they are all pretty much the same) have medical purpose

They aren't trafficking drugs for that reason.
>>
>>46528656
>Anything that isn't pot shouldn't be legal any argument against that is stupid.

here's the argument: you don't get to fucking decide what others do to their own bodies, is it dangerous, yes. So, fucking what, you don't get to tell them not to. It's their decision. Anything else is a gross violation of freedom. So, fuck you, fuck everyone who thinks they have the right to say how i or anyone else can live their life. Do, you even know what freedom is, well ill tell you what it isn't, it isn't the government saying what is and isn't safe enough for you to use.
>>
>>46528752
>Like i said, anything with no Medical Purpose should be illegal
if you put someone in jail for recreational, peaceful use of a drug, you are an evil person, there is no debate about it. It is unspeakable cruelty to punish these people when they haven't done anything wrong
>>
>>46528743
Cocaine was sold for toothaches and heroin was used as a cure for morphine addiction and for women with menstrual cramps. Also, LSD can help people with cluster headaches.

Thing is what people are arguing is completely different. There's little to no medical good in Opiates and Amphetamines.

And MEdial companies hadn that shit out like candy.

This, is where we will agree

I also hate the medical companies. They much rather squeeze all the money they can outta patients as they slowly die with Chemo and shit. Because of how much they make.

You make BILLIONS on a treatment, millions on a cure

Don't they work pretty well at dampening severe pain? That's a 'medical good'

doesn't change the fact that the government HAS NO RIGHT to tell you that you cant use a certain substance. A government with that power goes well beyond the scope of that of a free country. There is no argument that can change this. It isn't pragmatic, it is right and wrong, and it is wrong to put a man in jail because he decided to lick a mushroom, you destroy his life simply because you don't agree with his way of life. Its not just intolerant, it's cruel. These aren't statistics, and they aren't all gangsters, they are real people with lives which you want to ruin by locking them up for years in a cell. I would fight a war to free everyone who is imprisoned for non-violent drug crimes, and i have never even had a sip of alcohol, let alone used any of the drugs that have been discussed here. I cannot accept any other stance on this issue, as they simply are not moral.

i mean who cares if she practically gets to legally murder an innocent baby, and the kid will still have to live with a dependencey on meth, and never be able to read/talk/ shit on his own

Fucking kill yourself junky fucking scum. You already know im arguing light drugs are okay.

While I despise drug users I think he was doing a good thing. He didn't force people to buy drugs. He didn't hand out loans and beat people up when they couldn't pay.
It was the best way to sell drugs if it had to be sold.

He did plenty of things wrong. Running a drug market wasn't one of them though.

The drug issue in the west is fucked anyway.
There should be a standardised test for every drug, based on the harm it does. Give it a rating, and then ban every drug that has a harm rating that's too high.
Problem is that alcohol will probably fall into the too high category.
Unless you make that the benchmark- anything less harmful than alcohol you legalise, anything more harmful, you illegalise.

But it doesn't really matter. If you hate heroin and street drugs it doesn't matter since they will never go away. The more money you pour into stopping them, the more the drugs are worth on the street, because demand stays the same but supply dwindles. Violence increases to preserve selling opportunities. Communities are wrecked because drug dealing is massively profitable as opposed to staying in school.
Online marketplaces becoming legal would make drug prices shoot right down. Why risk getting beaten up by some drug dealing nigger when you can go online and order the same drug, with reliable quality, at a fraction of the price online?
>>
>>46529094
drug users should just die and go to hell where they belong

the use of drugs is a violation of the sacredness of the human body and a crime against god

the government isn't doing enough to stop these people, they are corrupting Americas youth with godlessness and atheism. This is a christian nation and the point of government is to enforce good christian morals, not stand there and watch as children are radicalized by drugs and pornography and the Islam.

Also doesn't take into account the dichotomy between the FBI stopping drug trafficking and the CIA actually doing drug trafficking.
CIA sells drugs, FBI tries to stop it.
Drugs can never be legalised mainly because the CIA will always oppose it. They'll cook up reasons why it'll help terrorists to protect their monopoly over trading drugs and weapons around. to the terrorist organisations of the future, no less.
Nuke saudi arabia, legalise drugs, stop bombing iraqi children.

Are you so in the dark you don't know about the CIA's drug and weapon trafficking? They've been doing it since the 70s.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegations_of_CIA_drug_trafficking
IT HAS A WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE.
WITH SUB ARTICLES FOR THE INCIDENTS

>CIA and Kuomintang opium smuggling operations
>IRAN-CONTRA
>Mena, Arkansas
>Mexico
>Panama
>Venezuelan National Guard Affair

And this is just shit we know about.

The CIA trafficks drugs. If you didn't know this, you're an idiot.
Let me guess, they didn't feed LSD to retarded kids either
>>
>>46529720
Upon reading the article, it looks like your claims are false. It seems like, yes, the CIA can be turn a blind eye to entities that traffic drugs that it may be involved with (which makes sense, considering 'plausible deniability' is a thing) but saying that the CIA itself actively sells drugs is insane

These operations are probably undercover or black ops, which is why they might be complicit at times

Drugs *are* assessed for harm, but "harm" isn't as one-dimensional as you make it out to be. There are drugs that can shred your internal organs if abused, but are reasonably safe when used in moderation. These drugs are often prescribed safely to patients. There are drugs that - even in minute doses - cause people to do insane things that harm other people (to say nothing of themselves). How do you classify those?

And what about drugs that just make you feel extremely good and are highly addictive? Drugs that are well-known to cause people to do violent and dangerous things to get their hands on more. These drugs don't cause harm to the body per se, but they sure as fuck endanger the community.

These factors are all assessed in most drugs. Some drugs are so entrenched in our culture that the political willpower to ban or regulate them just isn't there. Alcohol is one such case; so is smoking (though less so than it was in the past, owing to a monumental effort to overcome a cultural institution and billions in lobbying dollars).
