HotWheels doesn't really do transparency as much as I'd like him to do. Three weeks ago I asked why the domain WHOIS is still private, and he said he'd turn it off but both domains still remain with WHOIS privacy. I'm not a fan of his domain registrar choices either.

Another questionable thing, he bought a cat and can't even take care of said cat himself. So he went ahead and begged the Eight community to support his cat's care, which is like $400/month again?
He also says that the "pass" or whatever they're called can be cancelled with no refund if the user gets banned. That's really unfair, and it's also on the edge of customer safety laws.

I'm not a fan of going behind CloudFlare, but eh I kind of understand his motivations and he didn't want to use it either.
