Hey, /g/. I've been looking into buying myself a monitor but I'm overwhelmed with the choices. I play almost exclusively vidya and sometimes other stuff. Some things I'm confused about:

Just go to a gym couple times a week if you actually care about your heath and fitness. Standing desk without having core/back strength is much worse than sitting and having back support. Coming from /fit/, I think they're absolutely pointless. At the most, go with a kneeling chair, and even then, its a bitch to sit in and you have to be diligently sitting perpetually upright. It is good for your back, but I would only recommend it to people who already have back problems and are over the age of 30. Joe Rogan is a prime example of someone who uses it for this 3 hour long podcasts.

Cable management is a bit iffy, there's next to no room coming out from the power supply where the hard drive cages are so you kind of have to shove everything in there. If your power supply is modular you have to plug all the cables in before inserting the power supply into the case. Good news is that there's a decent amount of room behind the motherboard tray and the velcro straps make the push-pin doors on the case easy to close. Other than that there's great placement of the cable routing holes with some convenient ones to route the USB 2.0 header and HD Audio Headers coming through the top of the power supply. There's a few issues with the placement of the power and reset buttons in relation to the side panels but that's easy enough to solve by either moving the case out from the wall by a couple of centimeters or by using the motherboard option to allow you to wake the computer via a keyboard press or mouse click. The same goes for the front USB 3.0 Headers which I'm not gonna use and instead buy a powered USB 3.0 hub and route it round to come out underneath my monitor.

Overall it's worth the money you pay for it, the panels are plenty thick and the sparse sound-proofing seems to do it's job even though I have a total of 8 fans in the case.

I've currently got the NH-D14 which is probably the biggest cooler available. There's a clearance of 192mm from the motherboard that the NH-D14 needs so I'm pretty sure the Dark-Rock Pro 3 will fit just fine and dandy.

It was good. Only thing keeping me playing it is the friends I made in the game.

The game is still fun, don't get me wrong. But a lot of people quit because of some problems with hackers and exploits, so a lot of servers are almost dead (mine is) and you can't transfer your characters.

It's also fun if you enjoy growing crops and livestock to sell the materials you get off them. It's kind of a jack of all trades game, fun to play w/ friends.

I'd like to know this too. I want something sturdy with the possibility to rotate the displays. I currently have a 24" gayman monitor and a 27" Korean one with somewhat large bezels. In thinking of upgrading the Korean one to a 32" 4K monitor when a suitable IPS or VA panel launches but I need a very sturdy arm for it. I'm using a Rode PSA1. It's an excellent microphone stand. Very flexible and has tension to it. I am also using a shock mount. I am using an AT2020. This microphone is really nice for its price, but if you're trying to use it without a shock mount it will pick up everything, literally everything. I highly suggest buying it with a shock mount.
