that's a really fucking shitty build, it looks like you just threw the most expensive parts you could into it.
do you have any idea what in the fuck you're doing?

This is fully adequate for 144hz gaming and is also the build I'm saving for right now. The lamptron at the bottom is entirely optional.

Things you could do to spend more money
-8gb more of RAM/ Faster RAM (HAS TO BE LOW PROFILE)
-Better cooler, potentially closed loop water cooling
-Larger 850 SSD (1TB is like $600 though)
-980 instead of 970
-Platinum/Gold Power Supply, I recommend you keep it modular though.
-i7 instead of i5, only reason for this would be if you're doing something beyond gaming (there's nothing suggesting i7 is substantially better at gaming than i5)
-Mobo upgrade, don't really know what direction I'd go with it though.

>>45727965
Looks fine to me OP. I'd go with that too

why do you need a 1200watt psu are you going to be using 2 graphics cards ?
>>
>>45728122
Something important that guy didn't mention is that it's not an easy build since it's micro ITX (aka, small). If you aren't comfortable with putting it together yourself and still want something small look for local PC shops, usually they'll put stuff together for you pretty cheap, I've personally seen as low as $25.

The other thing is he didn't include the price of windows but so long as you're ok with using an activator it should be fine (use official ISO's from microsoft).

i was thinking about it getting a amd radeon r9 295x2 since it only offers a dvi d (single link) so i was thinking of getting a video card just for the HDMI

You fell for it. A xeon, water cpu cooler on the xeon, 32gb ram, 1200 watt psu. All for gaymen...

You are all stupid niggers.

2/10 for making me reply.

that's wrong though.
some current and definitely future games take full advantage of 8 threads, and have a significant performance advantage using an i7 over an i5.

OP, replace the i5 with an i7 4970k or 4770k, add 8 more gigs of ram, replace the msi gpu for a brand that isn't shit, and get a full tower like an NZXT phantom 530 or something.

and add windows 8.1. or whatever the fuck you want. and probably go for a 2 tb hdd instead of the 1tb.

post the feet of whoever is in your pic
>>
>>45728145
I have a 650 watt and run 2 gpus. 1200 watt is retard tier.
>>
>>45728217
An i5 will never ever ever ever ever bottleneck a 970 or 980 so it doesn't fucking matter.

There's nothing wrong with mini-itx

There's nothing wrong with MSI

OP refer back to the line here

/r/BuildaPcForMe has me on there, and I make builds I am proud of.

I would do that stuff more on here, but people fuck around and it is rare a build is requested.

You guys are Super Gigga Niggas.

The xeon the dude originally posted doesn't have an iGPU and he doesn't have a video card.

And yet he wants this for gaymen.
>>
>>45728242
>An i5 will never ever ever ever ever bottleneck a 970 or 980 so it doesn't fucking matter.
Like I said, some current games and definitely more games in the future will take advantage of 8 threads. Watch dogs for example has a significant framerate different when using an i7 over an i5.
there's no point in mini itx. none.
MSI is shit and you know it.
>>
>>45728281
MSI is fine, fuck off.

Don't need you here.
>>
>>45728281
okay sorry to ask this, but what would you recommend other then an MSI x99s?

>>45728298
could you guys recommend a graphics card?
>>
>>45728281
>there's no point in mini itx. none
except, you know, taking up less space and being more mobile?

>watchdogs
some shit-port is the last place I would be looking for benchmarks.

>msi
is fine, fuck off.

>>45728307
Don't listen to this retarded he's just spouting shit. If you want to listen to him for some reason just get any other 970 or 980 Gigabyte and Asus are the other good ones iirc.
