I my client settings I have it set to "Stop" once a torrent is done downloading, I'm not comfortable seeding because of the risk of AP2P letters and or settlements/copyright trolls/threats etc.

When downloading a torrent I have the upload speed set at 0.5kbps, I still manage to achieve download speeds of around 7.3mbps and considering the distance between me and the nearest exchange in my area that's excellent. If I were to upload I could achieve 2.6mbps upload but fuck the risk.

I've never had to use any other website other than Kickass and I check TorrentFreak daily for news on the P2P world.

I've recently installed Tribler but as it right now it's ded because fuck all users.

I also use a No-Log premium VPN situated in a country that has the most respect for user privacy and internet freedom.

Why not set something up like that old game pirating site? The more you upload, you get points and faster downloads. The more points, the more download speed or at least if you go negative you lose speed. The more in the negative the less you get.

The media one consumes reflects the person. Shitty people who leech tend to download shitty things. On the other hand, quality torrents tend to foster the kind of niche community that are not selfish assholes and seed for their fellow community members. Of course, there are still leeches, but the proportion is much lower.

So really it's just a self-solving problem, shit shows have to rely on the generosity of a few. If those few leave, tough luck, no one of value cares.
