Old one is at 300, let's get a new one going.
It was a 27" monitor. My eye level was around 3/4th from the bottom going up. I would normally tilt the screen up slightly, and it would be rather comfortable.
I don't understand how so many people on /g/ like their monitors so high up, that hurts my neck.
Got a new desk today.
Tannoy speakers are the other side of the room, don't like to feel the vibrations on my desk.
Its very basic at the moment but i am looking to make a few improvements.
yes, i know i need a new desk and chair.
Those are the next things i will upgrade.
diy speakers and an old keyboard I found at someone's house reminds me of dilbert
Suggestions are welcome, as well as criticism
>tfw almost Christmas
I'll actually have updated speakers for the first time in 10 years
The buttons are great, very tactile and responsive.
It's really big, though.
I have huge hands, but I can't see average person being comfortable using it.
I've been looking at the CST myself.
Maybe later next year.
I like the fact that they blend, but you make a good point about clutter.
Maybe swap the middle one with the Magic cards to the right, and see of that breaks it up nicely.
Yes bose sucks blah blah, but they sound decent (decent enough for me) and look nice and clean. If you can find me a 2.0 setup that looks nice for under $100 please go ahead
What would your reasoning be that its bad?
Yeah I could do with a new one, but what? I want cordless
>I love this M510, I cant find anything that works as well for me
if only someone would make some cheaper FM2+ ITX boards
>what are miccas
>what are any speakers
Judging by the choices you've made it tells me you aren't an enthusiasts and just want something that works right out of the box or stuff that takes minimal effort to set up.
I wish I had more fucking space for a desk. I had to get a tiny desk and try and fit everything here. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.
Rate me? :^)
You know eventually you're going to run out of ways to ask.
I need to learn AS3/flash or game maker to get a base model done, though I might put my game on hold and work on another small idea.
>You know eventually you're going to run out of ways to ask.
I don't think so, I will learn every language I can, I will go to the ends of the earth to find even the most obscure dialects, I will never stop, not untill your game is finished friend.
GameMaker is pretty easy, prototyping is easy as fuck in it too.
>dreaming about fancy battle station with 6 screens and shit
> Corsair 350D is small but sexy
> AMD for love ;_; fml no good mobos for AMD with AM3+ sockets
>go to electronic store for wires, gdmn ordered dells s2415h have only vga and hdmi, get last 2 hdmi to dvi cables, get extra gt 210 to attach two top monitors to pc
>fml mobo has only one pci-e slot
Micro ATX mobo for AMD with AM3+?
I think it's time to switch to Intel :(
(Yes, wiring is shit, but I won't zip it till everything is done)
that's what happens when there haven't been new chipsets for 2 years and even USB 3 needs a separate controller.
Are the older monitors 2007FPs? How well does the colors and brightness match?
I did that once. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
>If you can find me a 2.0 setup that looks nice for under $100 please go ahead
the speakers were free and the 200watt amp cost me $15
Finally got ADTpro working, time to copy some disks!
fuck that's actually pretty smart.
if only there was one to fit my oneplus.
Phone is right under the cassette deck, I was using it to load Frogger. Would get more work done without it to be honest.
Thanks... I'm not sure where I could move the parts boxes, I kind of use them to block some necessary floor cables like the coax from the wall. Decent foot rest as well.
I'll hit the store later today and look for dark purple curtains, I've been meaning to get something going. That's a nice idea.
Should have taken this during the day with my window open. Oh well, posting updated photo.
Bump on that monitor, looks really nice.
> kinda did not been able to fix cable problems
> page is for bios :/
> Nothing to hide
Yes, I think it's Ultra-Wide SCSI. I bought it in the mid 90s for about $12k. It was a dev environment for COBOL software I was working on for a much larger system. Nowadays it's all working on MPE/ix virtual machines or being rewritten. Not my problem.
Because I wanted a full tower? It'd not like I could've done anything better with the space on the right of my desk anyways. I don't have enough room to put the computer on the floor either otherwise I would.
whoops, I posted my old picture with no graphics card,
Its not touching the cooler, the case door was just too close, so I had to bend in the cable, and it just sticks up a little. Just the angle the photo was taken at makes it look like its touching.
Just did a build with and AMD FX 8370 that should hold me through college. But after that I plan on some thing with whatever is the best thing out there when I graduate and get a job.
Nevermind... was going to say there's a lot of robust old code running on mainframes that need maintenance these days, but it won't happen. Mostly because employers would rather have you build frail code on a cheap dime using "cloud" services these days.
sadly no. Working through the summer I should be able to afford a newer better one though. I have a lot of interest in bikes as well, so it's either going to be a new commuter or the laptop
