New battlestation thread! Old one is at the limits.
okay, off to bed now though.
The only time I ever have a spotlessly clean desk/room is when I don't have any fucking work to do.
Go find some work to do, NEETs.
Roommate just transferred and now the room is empty.
Don't know what to do with or how to decorate all this space.

I kinda just use it as an extra monitor, drag extra stuff there like my music player and such. It's handy to have.
Nice battlestation, 9/10 would sit at and sweat.

Also is the 8ms response time a problem with games?
Does anyone know of a program where I can, basically making simple squares/rectangles in a specific size, use it to measure out my room and place furniture as a planner? I don't want one of those online furniture planners, as they always have everything but my furniture piece, and are more rendering than I need. I just want to make sure everything fits.
>>45504690
french kanada, oh well i meant the language

Not him, but if you check TFTCentral's review, it's actually 4MS worst case that they measured, with literally 0 input delay/display lag.

I love it. The colors are great, the bezels are awesome, and the USB 3.0 hub is super clutch.
>>45504877
I have absolutely no problems with response times. I mainly play TF2 as far as multiplayer games go, but I have played BF3 on it as well. Nowadays I play The Binding of Isaac Rebirth a lot nowadays too.
My only real complaint is I wish the front buttons had actual detents instead of being behind the flexible part of the front bezel.
>>45504947
I'm gonna ask you a kind of random question, but, can you measure the distance from the outside edge of the screen to where the stand base starts?

What happened to epic gaymen PCs with LED fans?
I remember seeing a bunch like that with LEDs and neon tubes and stuff inside but now its all gone.
What happened? Are LEDs in cases unprofessional or something? Are they too edgy? I dont get it...

>>45505293
gaymen riggan has been around long enough that the community here has matured and moved away from such things.
Unfortunately, since the mech board community is somewhat younger, at least in comparison, you're still seeing a lot of LED boards in those threads.

I backed it when it was on kickstarter many moons ago and cheaper than it is now. But it is all complete and easy to put together on your monitor. Software is great and works on Mac and Windows. Probably loonix too but I don't really use it.

>>45504589
Can you share your wallpapers?
>>45505579
Anything under 3200dpi would justify such a mousepad, assuming both monitors were 1080p
>>45505595
Hell no it would not. I used to use 2000dpi to clear two 1080p monitors, didn't require that much space.
>>45505479
All speakers, projector as well as battlestation in the same room. It's a lot of stuff, but not enough to feel cramped.
Wouldn't want to move my station to a separate room, because everything is interconnected.
>>45505525
My PC is hooked up to the AV-Receiver (HDMI). The AV-Receiver has to screen outputs (out 1 is hooked up to the projector, as seen in the picture, out 2 is mainly for using the Wii U / Chromecast on the main monitor).
Playback is done via XBMC and remote controlled with IR-dongle and Logitech Harmony One.
>>45505607
You don't have to go edge to edge. Maybe he likes to have enough comfort room around the edges so his mouse doesn't have to be dead center whenever he needs to move it.
Or maybe he's like me and uses a low DPI. I don't see how anyone can use a computer with more than 1600dpi. I use 800 out of preference, because high dpis feel gross, the mouse is too floaty and not precise.
But the most important question is why the fuck do you care so much?
>>45505639
Oh, nice. Congrats on your setup.
>>45505583
you would get significantly better sound with a couple of bookshelf speakers on your hutch instead of that crappy 5.1 system.

Okay, so basically the only way this makes sense is if he is one of the few people out there that enjoy using a dpi that was common ago, but absolutely NEVER uses his numpad, because he definitely didn't buy that kind of keyboard to save space.
>why do you care?
I said what I wanted to say, now I'm just replying to people that are replying to my posts. Why do you care what I think about his keyboard/mousepad set up?
>>45505718

I'll explain why i have the smaller keyboard and mouse pad. I originally had a smaller desk and one monitor set up and i was tight on space so the keyboard was good at the time. The mouse pad isn't actually a mouse pad. I mainly use it when i'm playing Magic the Gathering, but it can also be used as a mouse pad at home. I only use a quarter of game pad for mouse use. Hope this cleared some stuff up.
