It depends. I generally call the usb storage devices "usb sticks" or "usb drives". I rarely use the terms "thumbdrive" or "pendrive" unless I'm talking to someone who uses those terms.
If it's not a storage device but some other peripheral I'll usually refer to it as a "dongle"
It's a drive of flash memory.
Calling it something like a "USB Flash Drive" is basically the equivalent of saying popcorn is "Microwave popcorn", or saying you're eating a "Bowl of cereal" instead of just "cereal". It's a redundant phrase used by the uneducated.
That particular thing is an Micro SD card reader, with built in microphone.
>Flash drive or if I'm in a hurry just USB.
But "U-S-B" contains more syllables than "flash-drive".
Here they call it "pendrive".
maybe he says it in 2 syllables like a real nigga
That's like all those shitty cop shows that say "GSW" instead of "Gun shot wound". Fuck heads. GSW is 5 sylables, Gun shot wound is 3.
Paper work, you type GSW on forms.
Talking, just fucking say the whole thing you re-tread.
