we have this thread like every fucking day.
>Nimbus screen capture
Alternatively you can use shift + f2
then type screenshot --fullpage
Nimbus has a lot of tools if i don't feel like opening photoshop.
Oh okay
Is the cleanest add on manager the one that minimizes your add ons?
Good to know

You can do that with CSS.

Did we give up on Adblock Edge? What happened, /g/?

And it's getting depressing that for the past 2 years or so the addons people have hasn't changed.

I hate to say it but developer attention seems to be focused on Chrome, considering µBlock and HTTPS Switchboard.
/g/ has always been split on whether it's worth switching to a fork over purely idealogical reasons.

The important thing with the add-on is that the lists get updated. Which is independent of the add-on. I can't think of a reason to not switch other than laziness.
Where does disconnect save it's whitelist/blacklist

If I whitelist a site, uninstall the addon, then reinstall the addon, that site remains whitelisted.

My OCD doesnt like not knowing how this operates.

Even after I've uninstalled it, and am using Privacy Badgers (made by the HTTPS Everywhere company). Honestly it just looks nicer, but I have no idea if it's doing as good as a job as the other Privacy addons.
Ghostery, Disconnect and other such tracker blockers are pointless if you are using AB* with anti-tracking lists.

Privacy Badger is kind of unique since it supposedly learns from your browsing what's tracking you and then adjusts the lists. But I still wouldn't bother with it if you already use an anti-tracking adblocker list.
This is your daily reminder that using more "privacy" addons just makes it easier for the Jews to fingerprint you.

So...am I good with these then?

I'm not even sure what I can and should be blocking.

I mean ads, yes. But I guess tracking cookies are the only other thing, right? And Firefox only allows cookies from sites I've visited, so thats good. And I clear them every now and then anyway. I'm not even sure why I should be blocking cookies if I clear them so often anyway.

It's not like I'm truly private, my IP still shows my location, though nothing I do online is really that sensitive, besides banking and the fact that my email contains my full name.

Those are the same filters I use for adblock except I have warning removal list unchecked and I have the anti-adblock killer script for greasemonkey. You can look into BetterPrivacy for LSO's.
>You can look into BetterPrivacy for LSO's.

Alternatively you can set Flash's folders in appdata to read only so you won't get cookies.
How is the different/better than www.logicalincrements.org/firefox?
That'll cause some issues with flash programs and
flash games

I mean, I don't use flash for anything but youtube, but I mean, I wouldnt want to break any functionality, right?
Stupid question there are standard addon list to make your browser less unique?

Holy hell... I've got a shitton:
>Adblock Edge (muh fokcz)
>Content Search X
>Cookies Manager+
>Default Full Zoom Level
>Flash and Video Download
>FoxyProxy Standard
>Gnome Theme Tweak (so it looks nicer)
>HTitle (again, so it looks nicer)
>Session Manager
>Simple bookmarks menu (nice looks)
>Textarea Cache
Also, no matter what you do, someone somewhere has probably implemented HTML5 Canvas Fingerprinting:

Pussies. I use NoScript and RequestPolicy, both on whitelist mode.
I commend your autism
Can someone explain useragent addons? Isn't the best way to hide just to use the most popular version of the browser?

And how do I use refcontrol for flash items that I can't right click into to see the url? e.g. xhamster.
xhamster doesn't need a referer header? I don't send one and i just tried it; worked fine. In fact I'm pretty sure refcontrol can't change the behavior of flash plugin viz sending referer header anyway.
Did Adblock Plus Element Hiding Helper just stop working for anyone else?
It's tough, but someone's gotta do it.

I'd recommend tweaking the userChrome since the gradients make dark themes look like fucking ass on Firefox.
Also, are you a web developer? What do you need Firebug for?
They can always improve, there's never a ceiling
Will do nothing without JavaScript. And even then you can just get rid of that with an addon.
Adguard (superior to any ff adblocker)
DownThemAll 3.0 beta
Canvas Blocker
HTTPS Finder
MozillaLabs Less Chrome
Overbyte (gopher protocol)
PCMan firefox extension (telnet protocol)

I have many more addons, but disabled at the moment
>I can't think of a reason to not switch other than laziness.

AdBlock plus icon is nicer than ABE.
