When you have enough experience, it surely seems easy. But without the know how, one would just get to frustrated (specially since there will be always some issues, cpu/gpu power management, no drivers/kexts, crashes, audio issues, software issues - e.g. FaceTime)

What is the Yosemite Zone distro? MacOS with flash porn animations?
I can write the Yosemite dmg to a USB with a Win32 programa (TransMac), but what about the bootloader? How I add Clover or Chameleon?

I only miss VS and that only for .net development.
For C++, while Xcode has the occasional bug with auto completetion (you can clearly see that Objective-C and Swift are way better supported) and the lack of fuzzy autocompletetion, I still prefer it over VS because the compiler is so much better.
For debug builds, VS takes way longer than clang to compile and link and the resulting binary is ridiculously slow. I have no idea why clangs is so much faster since I do -O0 builds with no manual optimizations turned on, but still, the difference is night and day.

Yosemite Zone is basicly OS X dmg with a bootloader that you cam write with Win32 thing from Windowa. Also suposedly auto configures some shit, but dunno, I still had to configure everything myself. VM is best for vanilla install tho.

If you want something native, google for the torrent OS X Yosemite 10.10 (14A389) bootable USB for Intel PCs (it's one the pirate bay). It's a vanilla Yosemite install with Clover and other bootloaders on the same stick.

Hackintosh is pretty nice, the worst part is getting your foot in the door with SOME install of OS X on SOMETHING and then you're good to go from then on, because all the tools to make bootable USB drives, like Clover, are OS X only.

Almost none if go for well compatitable, chosen out parts. Hell, I never intended to use my PC as a hackintosh, just a fairly mid-range gaymen PC (with a gen old motherboard+CPU) and the only thing that does not work is the sound.

Install is fairly hard until you get the hang of it, took me playing around a whole weekend to get it fully werking (through I really spent most of the second day trying to get audio to work, before realizing the ALC887-VD2 I have and the ALC887 and different and mine has fuck all in terms of driver support). Finding the right boot flags for your machine is also a bit of a pain in the ass, but nothing a bit of googling can't solve (though I had to use some kinda obscure ones like nv_disable). Still, I would assume it's easier if you go for the hardware in one of those Hackintosh Buyer's Guides.

Once you get it working it's glorious tho, has all I love about Ghanoo plus Lunix/UNIX-like systems, but in a convenient, pretty and just-working package. Also it has muh Photoshop and other shit.
