Had one of these bricks all through high school and first year of college. Felt good paying ~$5 a month for texting, because I thought that was all I needed.

Ended up getting a "smart" phone, and my whole world changed. Friends and I tried our best to break the old phone, but couldnt.

But i like my Pantech Jest 2.
It lasts like a week on battery.

I do miss my Nokia Twist though.

I wonder how long a smartphone could last if it only had the functionality of a dumbphone that everyone used. Contacts, calling, texting, Opera Mini browser, no WiFi. Make the OS lightweight (Linux, like Android, but without the virtual machine and sandboxing bullshit because there are no apps to babysit). I bet it could last even longer than a dumbphone considering Samsung's power saving mode can last a week.
