Wait what? Does Google track me through smartphone??
Reposting other Anons from my last thread.

I went to my friend's cafe today
Scary as fuck.
Time to disable~
I just check everyday weather. It used my location and...
Oh fuck it's even worse a couple of weeks earlier
I forgot to add, with my phone I rarely have GPS on.. I'm sure most of you are the same way, so this means google is pulling some coarse GPS data/cell tower location data all the time. With or without GPS 'on'
I don't use that botnet shit and I never will. Shame on google and the other companies and governent agencies that spy on their users and citizens, and shame on the users who insist on sacrificing freedom and integrity of themselves nad others for minor convenience.
Remember that one time when google got under fire for scraping wireless networks in street view cars?
Could this be used as evidence in court? Like if a girl claimed you raped her on friday but the location history showed you were at home all day.
Probably wouldn't be the definitive piece of evidence but it could be decent support for your claim.
>implying I don't know exactly where he works
It's not even on the property. There is a prison for teenagers right across the street though.
Google started tracking after I bought a moto360 in October.
Why do you people give your location to Google? Better yet, how are you giving such accurate information? It's not like you would carry anything made by them, right?
If I was really trying to be hidden I wouldn't have anything electronic on me at all.
>turn on Google location stuff
>check again 5 minutes later
>shows me 20 miles away from where I actually am
>You have no location history from October 24, 2014 to November 22, 2014
Its a shekel shoah!
>Click on 9th of November
>Pic Related times
>Alternating between where I know I was and my friends house
>friends house is 15 kilometres away
>I was on foot
Is this nigger logging into my account?
I'm actually not too bothered by this.
I mean, the Google Now location stuff is pretty useful. I use the GPS Nav quite a bit. It tells me approximate eta for places I frequent, traffic, weather, etc. There's not much to it, but it's not that big of a deal.
What's the big problem with having my location logged?
Also my commute looks like a dick.
Latest location information.
>Haven't been tracked after June.
>"You have no location history for [the past 30 days]"
>own an Android phone, but keep data and location off unless I am actively using them which is rare
>have a Gmail account, but use scriptblock, adblock edge, and requestpolicy, don't keep cookies
Guess my quasi-paranoia is working pretty well
Lel, I have a few of those as well.
I'm sorry /fit/, forgive me.
follow the 'Details' link by the 'Last account activity' in the bottom right of ur gmail inbox. it should show ips and dates. if u got mixed ips, especially from other isps, he's prolly being a nigger
