I have this backpack. It holds my 1.6 inch thick Alienware 14, a two inch binder, two one-subject spiral notebooks, a 600+ page paperback Java book, a (disassembled) miniature water pipe, as well as my brick of a laptop charger, a 12000mAh battery pack, and a few peripherals like my mouse.

Post backpacks, I'm not autistic enough for a satchel/I ride a bike

Thing is that I don't have any other good backpack to carry my shit when I go to class, and it fits my laptop/books/notepads and even my jacket and lunch if needed. And I don't really have the budget for another backpack right now.

I use an M-51 Engineer Bag. I'd grab a picture but I'm on my phone. It's tall and skinny and has a lot of cool pocket usage. Fits my laptop, tablet, kindle, a comp book, and loads of other small EDC style items

Biggest thing its got going for it? Durability. I live in NYC and I haul this thing everywhere. I've had it for 5 years and it has basic signs of wear.

I have this bag. I don't have a laptop though. Just a 5 year old gate way net book.
Bag is great. Cushioned laptop pouch, leathery strap, not cheaply made. Roomy without being too cumbersome.

I have what I think is called the Ogio Ruck 20. Decent enough bag, considering my options were that or a plain Jansport, the padded laptop sleeve inside and padded tablet pocket in front ultimately sold me. Carries an Acer C720, textbook, composition book, regular notebook and folder, some writing utensils, a pen knift, and a bottle of water. There's enough room in there for another two notebooks, chargers for all of my devices, a PSP or 3DS, TI-83 Plus SE, and the bag I had that broke the day I bought this one.

I use my Chrome Metropolis daily in all weathers. It's hard wearing and has kept all my gear dry in storm force downpours for the past 5 years riding 25ish miles a day. It carries pooptons and I can't recommend enough.

i needed a laptop back for traveling and shit, i picked up this one when i was at ikea.
