Windows installer giving me errors I decided to try out Ubuntu. So far so good I'll be able to do all I did in windows.

I've never been in the military, but I believe they have a bunch of people with my background working for them as civilians.

I'm a machinist's apprentice, and when I'm done with the apprenticeship, I'll have to find a job somewhere.
Norway is pretty much the place I want to try for, lots of workshops deliver things to the oil industry and such.

I could try getting a job in the military, but as a civilian, I don't think they'd have me live on the base. And I don't know if they'd ever send me abroad - it seems more reasonable to just ship out the spare parts I'd be making in the workshop.

I don't have the money for a DAC and I want to get a tenkeyless keyboard so I have more mouse room but they don't usually have media keys which I use a lot. Does a usb volume knob exist?
