was considering getting a pi? kinda don't know where to start
>>43079475
Well personally I went the seedbox route so I could only really help you in regards to that.
I'm not sure how practical a pi would be as a dedicated torrent machine (although I'm sure its possible)

pi directly to my router with a hdd attached? think that would work
>>43079475
>git pi
>slap rasbnian on dat bich
>git transmission
>git ssh
>git something that can send commands to transmission from your phone or whatever
(there is an app on f-droid market that does that forgot the name and my fone is ded)
>ethernet dat bitch up
>plug in a usb hdd
>...
>profit

Post more pixel desktops I like them.
I have an ITX system that I use for torrents, NAS duties, and as a HTPC. I use a low power processor, and a bunch of hard drives in RAID 5.
