While I have people's attention, I have unrelated problems. My Toshiba 2TB external HD has 140+ errors (after a Seagate Tools Scan). Every program that wants to repair it freezes. I want to at least backup everything from it into my computer temporarily while I format it. But Windows isn't completing the process.

Windows 8.1 64-bit (btw)

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
