Is the T-Mobile $30/Mo Prepaid No Contract, Unlimited Data, 100 minutes + Google Nexus 5 still the /g/ approved optimal non-deprecated phone + contract config?
and for people who actually use minutes i think you can even use voip or some google voice or some shit to basically get free minutes? (may or may not require wifi)
Yes, I got one a month ago. Came from VM, so far getting better coverage at a cheaper price and this phone has a lot of dev support. Every app I've shown at it so far has worked smooth like butter.
also that 30$ t-mobile is iirc is unlimited butonly 4G for like the first 2GB/mo and 3G thereafter or some shit, right?
still way better than most shit plans
makes me wonder when it will disappear since it's prepaid and not contract.
It's 2G after the first 5GB. Not 3G.
Don't expect anything remotely usable for anything but checking one random google search if you need to quickly.
No no no.
Buy a nexus 5 from wherever. Used on ebay, directly from google, whatever you want.
Make sure you have an appropraitely sized sim card of course. Should come with any new Nexus 5.
Then go to the T mobile website and set up your credit card to auto-pay the $30/month plan with the 100 mins. Or just buy one month manually.
The walmart shit is another plan. I don't even remember if they still have it. It's like unlimited talk unlimited text but like no data at all.
>no micro SD slot
>no removable battery
>can't replace battery
>shit battery life
>shitty flimsy creaky build
>1 year old SoC
Literally only the S5 until the Moto X1 gets released.
You know it's stock android right? Literally a piece of shit like an S4 is going to have google "bloat" IN ADDITION to samsung bloat and bloat from the provider.
no microSD sucks but no removable battery is a common thing these days so it's not a deal breaker.
Camera on the 5 is decent. 4 was shit.
battery life is decent too
screen is fantastic you're fucking ignorant
build quality on nexus devices is really good partially because no removable battery or microSD slot lead to more solid build with less flimsy parts. Waterproof is a gimmick. You would never ever go in the water with your phone even if it was advertised as "waterproof"
For the money it's an excellent value until the opo restocks
We know literally everything you just said dumbaSS. Do you think you're special? Do you think you're the ONLY GUY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD who figured something out? Gee wow you're so smart.
EVERYBODY was skeptical. Then the review copies came out. There is no catch. None. Not one single fucking person has been able to find an enormous flaw with it.
