Searched battle and came up with nothing. Might as well make one before I start streaming. Rate/ Hate
Maybe someday I'll take that new picture
How hard/easy is it for you to talk to your parents?
I got fired from my job last month, and I wish I had more money, as I still want things. I feel guilty just sitting around in my bedroom, but it sure is comfortable
So many Monitor choices...
Free shit is best shit.
Spend time learning new marketable job skills and less time on 4chan and you'll probably be able to find a job.

free shit is best shit
That's awesome. How much have you put into it (time and money)?
I doubt anyone remembers me.
probably gonna get a new monitor pretty soon since at the moment my photography seems to be more interesting to people than my shitty radio shows.
I feel nothing, only thing wrong with me is depression/anxiety as I've been unable to find a job.
I don't put much care into my personal work, so long as its function the look doesn't matter
Ain't got a car to get places though.
>How much have you put into it (time and money)?
Couple weeks to build it, around $500-$600 in parts. Much more in batteries, other equipment, and time spent learning how to build, tune and of course fly these things.
It's fun to fly a pocket sized podracer and zoom past bushes or go really high
>he shelled out a grand for a mac
>has no furniture to compensate for financial burden
having less furniture is nice sometimes though, but seriously a mac? It isn't the OS or software, not even the hardware, its the price.
I live near Hamilton so you've got nothing to worry about.
Besides, if I wanted to spy on you I'd use a camera with a telephoto lens. These things draw far too much attention to ever consider being used for that.
Not that I'd want to do so in the first place, dodging bushes, poles and trees while inches above the ground going really fast is far more fun than violating people's privacy.
I always like rooms that are shaped like that. They always seem cozy.
The keys would look nicer if they were all white and grey.
Although, the rest looks nice except for those three different sized/oriented monitors. I couldn't live with a setup like that.
Rate mine please, also, seeing alot of M50's in here. I use them on the move (bus and train).
Desk looks nice, but leg space?
Great monitor setup
Awesome pictures on your wall!
Ranges from easy to what the fuck am I doing.
It's a real thing, to some extent.
I didn't know. Thank you.
From time to time, but I didn't know if those were the only ones and it was some thread I missed from long ago. At least I know you're real now.
yeah, I'm a broke ass nigga so I can't afford to drop the money for three monitors at once. One monitor was my sisters old one. Her desktop broke so she got a laptop, I ended up fixing the desktop and she let me keep it. Then When I got the money to build a proper rig so I got a 1920x1080 20" AOC monitor for cheap b/c I couldn't afford much, then when my uncle was trying to get money to pay back my family for bail money he sold me my dell monitor which is 24" 1920x1200 for 70 bucks.
When I build my next rig I'll probably get a tenkeyless keyboard, three 4k monitors and a zowie mouse. Until then this rig does the job. I have 3k sunk into my tower though. 12TB of storage, 2 256GB SSDs in RAID, a GTX680 and some other shit.
I like it, it was the easiest available (and not too expensive) chair that looked (and turned out is) comfortable.
I did put other armrests on it though, i still had these ones lying around from another IKEA chair, they are curved down so i can place my chair under my table easier.
I like that you can lock the Markus in different positions (backrest can go backwards and you can lock it at different angles).
Theres pretty much no space for leg movement. But most of the time i sit at an angle with one leg in front or on top of the desk, or i sit with my legs not even under the table.
I still wouldnt wanna miss this desk though.
Its beautiful and fits perfectly into the totally messed up geometry of this room.
Don't be offended or anything, other than those two it looks nice. Much better than mine. What do you do with all of the storage? Also, three 4k's would be really nice, but outrageously expensive. So would the video card to run that.
Honestly, it doesn't look too bad. If you cleaned up a bit of the cans and such, though, it would look nicer. Not something you'd want your friends to come over and see, but it's good enough to live in.
I stack cans a lot, but get frustrated whenever gnats fly around my monitor. I'm sure if you put effort into it your station could look sweet.
currently working on building desk extensions to suit speakers
I can't really get a good angle of the whole thing, but it's basically just a

shape. Two walls with support pillars on either side that extend out for stability. It used to be a headphone stand but it got too annoying to put them back on each time so I repurposed it.
The storage is for a mixture of music (lots of flac ripped from vinyl records), movies, pornography and other such things. I do go through terabytes of data.
As for the 4k monitors and such, I plan I doing a major overhaul on my rig sometimes within the next year or two. I figure if I give DDR4 and 4k monitors a year or two to develop then there should be good options available (everything sucks 4k-wise now) and finding the hardware to run everything should be a snap. It won't be cheap but I'm hoping to have maybe 5-7k put to the side in the next two years for the monster build. I wanna do my first SLI or Crossfire build, intel is kinda faggoty so I'll probably be switching back to an AMD processor too.
Homemade desk bros. I'd like to make all my furniture in the future, except my office chair.
Buy a NanoQX and learn to fly, while reading countless resources. Gonna need a lot of time to spend researching, it'll take a while.
There's a rolling multirotor thread on /diy/ usually, and RC threads pop up from time to time. Question for you, what do you feel is a 'drone' exactly? What quantifies something to be called a drone? Genuine question.
There is loads of information and plenty of guides how to do so. The key is taking the time to learn as much as possible. I've got a build log of it, if you wanna take a look at it.
>poser 'hackintosh' mac
Too poor for real mac hardware? Too dumb for a real OS?
Have I got the thing for you!
>my little pony
What the fuck do you need this for? You should have an arcade stick and a mouse+keyboard setup.
Replacing my chair, my old one was getting shitty.
are you normally able to see all 4 walls of a room in 1 shot?
Y-you mean insects, right? Spiderbros are the best.
I figured it would be normal things like that.
That sounds pretty nice, man. I look forward to seeing it one day.
I've been looking for a nice 2k monitor myself.
I only really like their mouse pads.
Not really sure maybe just to show that it is receiving power.
Here is speccy, PSU is Corsair AX1200i, case is Corsair Carbide 540, cooler is Corsair H105
I have mixed feelings about it. I like the choices they made to save space: PSU at the front and eleminating external 5.25" bays. It has no room for cable management inside, and the air intakes out the top and exhausts out the bottom, which makes cooling a little odd.
It's my first SFF build though, and I probably should have thought about my component choices a little better. My power supply and CPU cooler are both too large for the case, and the fans I have on top are too thick to put the dust cover on. I have an all in one water cooler with a 240mm radiator. The only place it fits is at the top, so the CPU is blowing its own hot air onto itself and the graphics card. Much of my gripes with it are my own fault though, buying full size parts and trying to fit them into a small case. I'll probably stick with full size ATX builds from now on.
Attached pic has my temps. GPU is a bit high for idle, but I guess that's normal with a reference 290X. I'm waiting for some games to download so I can test it under load.
Alright, /g/. This is my first time posting one. I've been scared to until now.
Just ordered pic related. Starting next week I won't be embarrassed to show my setup.
come on anon, you can get good stuff for not that much money if you put a little effort into it
Im seeing plenty of apple minimalistic faggotstations but no battlestations and it makes me want to puke!
I want mess.
I want wires.
I want CRT's!
The chair, speakers, curtains and desk I'll agree on. What do you mean by molding, though? I'm trying, man, but I don't have enough extra money for aesthetics. I keep blowing it on other things or new components.
Although the case and keyboard is nice. I like them.
What would you rate me?
Why are there always so many fucking Winblowsfags when a battlestation thread comes up. It's like you're all proud of your shitty cases with 5,000 blinking LEDs and your Razer keyboards add to your minimalist shit.
What the fuck
This is kind of how I feel about it. I've got a minimalist station, but when I think of a battlestation I imagine racks of recycled hardware connected by a schizophrenic tangle of wires, massive banks of monitors, and a dozen half completed electronic project from various cobbled together bits.
and a stupid question of the thread award goes to >>42912005
Is the video feed actually in real time, as in you can use it to control the device? If you had this hooked up to a tracking head mounted display with the camera motorized so you could look around it would probably make you throw up. I want to try it.
>Is the video feed actually in real time, as in you can use it to control the device?
Sure is. It's exactly how I fly it, as if I'm in the cockpit flying it in real time.
>If you had this hooked up to a tracking head mounted display with the camera motorized so you could look around it would probably make you throw up. I want to try it.
The goggles I use have headtracking. I don't have a need for a pan and tilt mechanism on any of my builds yet, but I might put one on an FPV plane in the future.
In the process of relocating/changing a lot. So might as well post this shitty one this one last time.
>the rug is coming with
Boring filty gaming pleb shit.
Thats just every kids bedroom
I mean more like this!
First time posting. Phone camera is worthless in low light.
There is a tripfriend of that name that commonly used to post in these threads with his rig, which usually had that background as his desktop. He also posted pictures of his shaved, feminine legs. His face is hideously ugly though.
So if you're the type of person who moves their shit around a lot, how do you handle cable management? I've always admired tidy cables but have resented the difficulty of moving stuff whenever I had a neater setup.
that is exactly what I have and I love it personally. I use the shelf for a small tv and my vidya, then the computer/monitors/shit are on the other side with the keyboard/mouse tray. Looks great, works even better.
Would post picture if it wasn't 5AM and messy as fuck
OP, post again your station. They don't have to win!
If they can posts their stations with cabinet full of anime dolls and nobody says anything, you MUST post your station with pony toys and nobody MUSTN'T say anything!

I'll take a better picture later on but for now look what arrived!
Screen name is NegaCallahan for everything. I'm nothing bit, nor do I expect to be. But I am trying to git gud at CS:GO and being able to look back at my gameplay and see what an impatient shit I am helps. Feel free to spam my shit with hate, it never bothers me. I will probably be streaming sometime in the next hour or so though..
Yes it is. Very good.
Oh, I didn't even notice it. I'm pretty neutral about the purchase on facebook's part. They said they wouldn't fuck it up for gaming, and they would be smart not to if they want to make their money back.
