>Web video streaming from bittorrent

Is there a way to do it? I tried webtorrent but it doesn't support streaming.

I have an idea of bittorrent-based video streaming website but it seems I should start from zero

I have a database with three user types. Businesses, Business Clients, and Workers.

I have my database organized this way:
>account_info (to store basic account info, such as password/address/etc)

>person_info (stores specific info about people. Has account_info foreign key)
>>client_info (stores specific info about clients)
>>worker info (stores specific info about workers)

>business_info (stores specific info about business. Has account_info foreign key)

Is this fine?
>>
>>61814015
Depends, does the data you store for different types of users change?
USERS (
id
user_type_id references user_type
user_data_id references user_data
)
USER_TYPE (
id
type
)
USER_DATA(
id
<ALL DATA FIELDS>
)

seems to make more sense
>>
>>61814151
I was doing this, but I was cheating for stuff like business/industry name.
Example:
>first_name
>last_name

I was storing the business name and business industry in these fields, which is not good. Also, wouldn't it be easier just to do this in your example?

USER_DATA(
id
user_type_id references user_type
<ALL DATA FIELDS>
)
USER_TYPE (
id
type
)

Does anyone here use void linux? How does it compare to Arch or Gentoo? Looking into it and not finding much information, I mostly know if most software packages that run on the latter two are going to work in void without too much fucking around or if it's going to be a pain in the ass.

Will beefy exposed motherboard VRM ever come back in style? I know those i9 have been really heating up the VRMs

VRMs/cooling are a meme. I got a Z77 mpower and right before warranty was over, the VRM failed, frying 2 CPUs.

Is wanting to build a "super powered" computer worth it?
I bought a prebuilt Gaming PC a few years ago and it worked great(only has a 660Ti) but now I want to go crazy and buy a Titan X, get water cooling, buy a 144Hz monitor, and get all these expensive shit. But is it actually worth the price?

>>
Mac Pro or wait for the new iMac pro.
Only right choice.
>>
>>61813348
No, if you want to gaym just settle for a 1080ti and leave the Titan X to retards that have money to blow on stupid shit. Not sure if water cooling and 144Hz are memes or not.
>>
>>61813552
I play mostly FPS games so a higher refresh rate is almost needed.
My only issue with shelling out a good amount of money for a new PC is knowing that most of the stuff I buy would need to be upgraded in two years. technology is moving quickly so would a 1080ti even be good in 2019?

How to improve the GNU/Linux desktop market share thread.
> /g/ ideas

> Games support
Valve should release games (Portal 3, Dota 3, Half-life 3) first for SteamOS for a while (like 1 year) and then on the other platforms.
They'll force lot's of people to install/buy SteamOS and it'll reactivate the Steam Machine's market.

> Drivers support
Google is already doing this, popularizing ChromeOS with GNU/Linux will force enterprises to give more support to the kernel and our platform. Furthermore, we will be able to install Android applications on GNU/Linux soon.

> https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps
> https://www.blog.google/products/chromebooks/the-google-play-store-coming-to/

Any other ideas?

these things take time

the only proven method of adopting a technology in an already entrenched market such as desktop OS is to have kids learn about it in schools

if school computers everywhere had linux on it then the new generation of kids would use it. simple as that
>>
>>61812966
But GNU and Linux need to die. All that time wasted on such trash. Imagine all that time currently being spend on GNU and Linux instead being spend on a new standard(Fuck POSIX) and a good operating system.
>>
>>61813080
POSIX is the best standard when it comes to security, stability and interoperability

the fact that linux is running 99% of world's non-desktop computers only proves that

Aussie and international Jewglers and Applefags of /g/, simple question for you lot.

What's the actual difference between GPM and iTunes? Spying jews? Prices? iTunes being a bloated piece of shit?

Just wondering where to spend my money on in the future giving the whole shit going down with google lately, as far as I can tell iTunes is just 2 dollarydoos more expensive across the board for no given reason.
