I just went to http://www.lionsgate.com and the entire page is 36mb.
thirty six megabytes.
How the fuck is this possible, you might ask?
Well, it starts off with a 12mb 1440x830 jpeg.
how do you even fuck up that badly
Why are "normal websites" so bad at data optimization? Is it just because we're in an age where that literally does not matter anymore?
pic related, the file that was 12mb as a jpeg on the site, simply converted to png with no quality lost.
they somehow managed to make THIS FUCKER RIGHT HERE 12mb.

I have a Zenfon 3 Max and it's been 6 months and the dreaded "~app~ has stopped working" has started. This seems to be a problem to me in every Android phone that I had (tried an iPhone and it felt so smooth). Will this problem be solved if I use a different OS like Fdroid or is there something I can do to make this shit crash. I don't play games on my phone, just for communication and internet browsing.
