I currently have a mac from christmas that my parents got for me s i kept it not just for the "not a horrible son part" but also thinking that i can play lots of decent games. NOPE. Dude, you posted this yesterday. Restart the browser. If that doesn't work, then open terminal and type:
mv -v ~/.mozilla ~/.mozillabackup
then:
cp -v -r /etc/skel/.mozilla ~/.mozilla
Boom. FF's polluted settings are reset, like a clean install. If that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall.

Deleting addons.json in profile fixed it, not sure what that file is for since my addons and their prefs stuck around.

Looking for in ear headphones recommendations. I alright have some good headphones at home, but they're bulky and I don't want to carry them around.

Hey bros,
I'm a bit of a retard when it comes to networking.
So I'm trying to upgrade to 10GbE from 1GbE since I do a lot of file transfers (video) from my Dell server to my main edit PC.
Should I get pic related dual Intel x520 and another single port Intel card and run a 20ft sfp?
Is it that simple?
Any brand recommends and models?

As long as the SFP's (also referred to as a Gbic) are the same speed/type, and the card(s) support said SFP's, and the fiber cable is the rated for correct speed that the SFP's use.
Kind of a pain in the ass to do all this though.

I went with the Jewtel x540-T2 with 20ft CAT6a for server and a x540-T1 for the receiving PC.
All under $300. Not too damn bad desu desu.
Can't believe prices have fallen so much over the last 2 years for 10GbE.
Was worth the wait.

help me out /g/ I need a laptop but I don't have any money or time to find a bargain. the thinkpad thread recommended a t430, but I assume you have to find a refurbished one and I don't know who would sell them and online shipping to get it in time would probably put me over budget. I just need something that can play shitty browser games and decode h265 animes. I only have $250 and I need it by saturday.

h265 anime at 720p works fine in integrated graphics. Higher than that and it'll stutter terribly.

Read the sticky. There is no magical tutorial/website out there is the best.

It doesn't matter. Your question gets asked every fucking day here. Find one that is interesting to you and start. There is no perfect first language. Stop wasting time asking other people for the best ___ and start. After you finish your first book/tutorial/website you will still be a beginner. And a perfect tutorial for one person might be horrible for you.
Just start. When you get hung up on a problem then use your fav internet search engine to solve the problem. There is no easy way. There is no best way.

Hey /g/. If any of you use Firefox Nightly you will know that the Sad Panda extension (Exhentai Easy) stopped working because it's not a webextension yet.
I'm not a developer by any means. I went to the github page for exhentai easy, applied a non-merged pull request that turns it into a webextension, and built an XPI out of it.
If you want, you can install this xpi in Firefox Nightly and Exhentai Easy will work again.
Just thought I'd share this.
I also submitted this to addons.mozilla.org but it needs to be approved.
