Projection can't take into account the shitty game you decided to play for 20 minutes.

Because you're driving up the price of graphics cards. Think of the manchildren.
Hi, I don't want to be kidnapped, I really really really need a VPN with TLS encryption badly. But i still don't want to pay for it. (good reasons and yes i did my homework Senpai.) I bet that no one can find a free limitless vpn with TLS encryption. (PS no OpenVPN Client. Heaven and programmers gave up on that one years ago.)

This wouldn't be that hard if there were an easy way to write to a framebuffer at the low level. I can't figure out how to change even one pixel.
Holy shit I was so stupid.
I got a FX 8320 in late 2013 and I bought an aftermarket cooler called Alpenfoehn Ben Nevis like a year ago but I was too lazy to actually install it.
I just got really drunk and put that thing on my CPU and now it's completely quiet. Why the fuck did I not do that before?
I lived with an airplane landing next to my head for the last few years and now this cooler just eliminates all the sound.
Why was I so stupid?
Literally took me like 15 minutes to wipe off the old burned in thermal sticker, apply the new paste and then the cooler. What the fuck was I afraid of?
I feel so fucking stupid right now. Pic related is right after near maximum load and with the boxed cooler I couldn't even hit max without crashing.

yes stock coolers suck this is well established.

It werks really really fine. I don't know why you would imply that this is a thing to laugh about.
Is there any decent ways to generate a profit from a dedicated server?
I've recently been given a 10gbps unlimited bandwidth machine thats sitting doing nothing.

Duh. You even have to ask? You're sharper than that. All new tech like this is essentially a beta test for the real applications coming down the line.
It is designed with the TITFE demographic in mind (tech illiterate, teenaged, female, and/or elderly). If you identify with any of these consumer groups, this product will provide value to you.

>Is an internet connected always on microphone that sends your data to a 3rd party server and accomplishes nothing that a smartphone can't already do a meme?
Do you really need to ask?
How do I get my own internet so I won't have to be dependent on a provider that may or may not charge me far too much?
>>61971164
You literally can't
Buy a million routers, place them across the world and connect them using a few million miles of ethernet cables, then send out invitations to websites if they would be interested in joining your privately owned internet. Make sure to mention you will pay for all expenses.

Checked these trips.
Anyone ever seen them? I think they're brilliant, though I can't wrap my head around how they'd be used.. Especially with the additional 4x PCIe slot at the rear. It's for expansion, but you prolly need their custom boards.
I'd love to use one as a dedicated NAS in a server or something, is that even possible? Is there a single one with just a PCIe 16x interface?
>>61970830
I really can't think of a single real use case for this
VMs and containers make that have no real reason to be used
>>61970872
I mean it's pretty cool so why the heck not
>>61970830
the only thing I'd imagine this would be useful for is if you want something to be running 24/7 but want to save power by having your main PC powered off most of the time

Come on guys!
Okay, please excuse my stupidity, but I need help. I'm so fucking clueless. I ordered Verizon Fios internet for my apartment, and I need to buy a router. Can someone please tell me a router to buy? I got the 50/50 package.
Oh, and they're sending a 'kit', so I'll be installing everything myself
Does anyone else have fios? Should i just buy https://www.amazon.com/Verizon-Router-Actiontec-MI424WR-Rev/dp/B00QGDLA5Y
>>61970704
Give their support line a call and ask to be sure. The ActionTec is what they use (i think) so you should be ok.
