Boorus are obviously the superior method of storing naked anime girls. It doesn't make sense to save from a booru into a tagless, unorganized personal collection where at most you have things sorted by a few hierarchal folders. But it also doesn't make sense to wade through images on a public site to find the 5% that you like, and rely on scores from people with shit taste because they aren't you.
With that in mind, has anyone come up with a complete solution for saving from boorus and then uploading to your own personal booru? Danbooru already has a bot that copies Gelbooru, what I want is something like this, except as an extension that I can click to download individual pictures from boorus, which will copy all the tags and other meta information and upload it to my own booru. Images from existing collections can be incorporated if they're saved as their md5 names, because you can search md5:* to retrieve the original tags.
Setting up your own booru is simple, but that's not the important part. Most of the groundwork is already laid and I'll do it myself if I need to, but I can't be the only person with this idea.
or you could just stop being obsessive compulsive
>go to pixiv
>save images to disc
i don't know, my way seems easier
Use greasemonkey or something similar to make your own button on booru pages that when you click it it uploads that image to your personal booru.
Should be simply enough assuming you know javascript and theres a REST service or something you can use to upload images to your booru.
I bought a new HP Pavilion laptop the other day. It seems that when I try and watch videos, some play, while some give me issues. The main issue that I have encountered in a green vertical bar running through the video.
>pic related
I am using Firefox if that matters, and admittedly, haven't tried watching through another browser.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
>I am using Firefox
any other issue you're having is suddenly very insignificant
>>61984083
Just for shits and giggles, what is wrong with Firefox?
Hi guys
So my screen is completely broken and I need to enable debug mode to allow me to view the screen from my laptop. Unfortunately, with adb the only way I can control the device is using the sideload option i.e I can flash an image/ROM to the device.
Are there any custom ROMs that are preloaded with USB debug mode enabled? ROMs that are geared towards developers or anything like that? I just need debug mode enabled so I can control it from my laptop.
Give it back, Sanilaquiauaniala.

How long do you plan to store your digital data for?
Will you ever one day just delete it all?
>>61983883
As long as I need it. If it's memories than forever
>>61983883
>Photos I took
Probably forever
>TV/Movies/Music
As long as I still enjoy it and have storage space
Storage is cheap so I don't see much reason to delete things often.
Until i need space.
For example i have a lot of movies and series hoarded but all of those are from a few years ago when I had shit internet & <1080p rips were acceptable. I'd never rewatch anything in that quality so i use it more as a reminder, i'll look through old stuff find something im interested in, delete it and redownload in high quality.
so if I ever actually need room i can just delete the backlog of old shit.
What is the /g/ recommended program to mirror folders? Pic related won't find my network folders when I run as administrator. I'm wondering if I'm better off using windows file history

Answer any of these:
>Do you work as a software engineer(anything related to it) and are you good at it?
>What's the most impressive piece of software that you've written?
>Is the above-mentioned piece of software used by other people? Have you made it available to everyone?
>Have you participated in ANY programming contests, online or in-person?
>If you do have a work in a programming field, are you paid well?
>Pretty much every good programmer in the world uses a text editor, and not an IDE. So, do you?
>List your programming language competency - from pro to beginner. If you know less than 3 languages(different paradigms), you don't belong in this field.
>finished uni/dropout/currently studying?
Go on, let's see how many useless NEETS we have here.
>I got "hello world" to run successfully. The post.
>>61983457
>Do you work as a software engineer(anything related to it) and are you good at it?
I am an intern, because still at the uni
>What's the most impressive piece of software that you've written?
I built my own robot arm, and wrote the controlling software, implemented some games for it
>Is the above-mentioned piece of software used by other people? Have you made it available to everyone?
I have published it to github, but I don't know if people use it
>Have you participated in ANY programming contests, online or in-person?
nope
>If you do have a work in a programming field, are you paid well?
I am an intern, you can guess
>Pretty much every good programmer in the world uses a text editor, and not an IDE. So, do you?
Bullshit
>List your programming language competency - from pro to beginner. If you know less than 3 languages(different paradigms), you don't belong in this field.
C#
Java
Javascript
>inb4 pajeet
These are the languages that got you hired
Arduino
python
>finished uni/dropout/currently studying?
Have 1 semester left
>>61983457
>Do you work as a software engineer(anything related to it) and are you good at it?
Yes. Mid-level. Idk, I hope so.
>What's the most impressive piece of software that you've written?
Wtf kind of question is this? Define "impressive"?
>Is the above-mentioned piece of software used by other people? Have you made it available to everyone?
I work for a massive startup so yes, millions of people use my work
>Have you participated in ANY programming contests, online or in-person?
No because i'm not a fag
>If you do have a work in a programming field, are you paid well?
Yes, at least for where I'm at (UK is lower than US on avg, but my costs are much, much lower than living in the Valley)
>Pretty much every good programmer in the world uses a text editor, and not an IDE. So, do you?
I use an IDE because i'm not autistic (I use vim keybindings tho)
>List your programming language competency - from pro to beginner. If you know less than 3 languages(different paradigms), you don't belong in this field.
I know 1 extremely well (it's what I use everyday and what I was hired for), but several others at an intermediate level
>finished uni/dropout/currently studying?
dropout. did not major in cs either
>using windows for ANY reason
