Sync my music to what?
How long, do you think, till operating systems will become an art form?

around when OSX was first released.
Absolutley beautiful OS, and the world's most advanced
>>62113696
Beauty is only part of the equation in art.
>>62113592
They already have.
There's no disputing it.
Android is insecure, hardware gets abandoned fast leaving them vulnerable, iOS has better applications etc.
>zero proof for any of these ridiciulous claims
fuck off already, shills

Post pics of your custom homepage, /g/.
>tfw I have to compress my own omni.ja in order to have custom local new tab page on firefox
>>62113403
>/r/the_donald and /pol/
:^)
tfw firefox doesn't allow users to custumize the new tab.
tfw webextensions cannot access local files, so no file:///home/.homepage.html.
Thank you firefox for protecting newbies from homepage changes, and forget about advanced users.
D-Did I do good, /g/?

Can we stop shilling this now? Nobody wants to pay w540 prices for p60 performance.
Which countries should I block for my server?
I already blocked China, Russia and Poland for security reason. (and Turkey because I just don't like them)

If you want help:
>Assemble parts list

>State the budget for your build (and country if not USA)
>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate
>Clarify your goal for build improvements: lower price or improved specs?

CPUs:
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560 - poverty-tier builds
>R3 1200 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R3 1300x - Good stop-gap between the 1500x and the 1200, only get a 1400 if you absolutely need multithreading
>R5 1500x - Good but up to 1600 if you can
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage; 1600x if you want higher stock clocks
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use; Not for just gaming
GPUs:
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - 1080p@60~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - 1080p@80hz maxed, 1440p@60hz at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 or Vega 56 - 1080p@130hz /1440p@60hz at high
>GTX 1080 - 1080p@144hz / 1440p@60hz maxed, 4k@60hz in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - 1440p@144hz and 4k@60hz maxed/high in many games
>Good fucking luck even getting a VEGA right now
RAM:
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM
General:
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor

Has watercooling gone too far?
I have idea why R5 1500x is still fucking on the OP. It is a fucking shit CPU when it is barely less expensive and 2 core and 4 threads behind the 1600.
everyone says i3 is a terrible buy now that bentium are 4 thread. but 6100 on a H110 is only $10 more than a B250 and 4560.
Why aren't you using Windows 2000, anon?

Why is it so hard to find a programming job, /g/?
As pic related shows, I can program in Java to a high degree. I many people who don't even know who they are talking about get jobs in programming, yet I can't seem to get one no matter what I try. I don't think this is fair to me.
What gives?
>I can program in Java to a high degree.
kek, don't flatter yourself
anyway, build a github portfolio with interesting and impressive personal projects
>>62112730
Been there done that. I suspect that the last employer I showed my GitHub to stole some of my stuff and still didn't hire me.
Another example of someone who stole stuff from my GitHub that I know for a fact did was a r*ddit (yes, I know) moderator on a java help subr*ddit who earlier had berated me for not knowing what I was talking about.
>>62112699
>Why is it so hard to find a programming job
I'm a half-shit programmer and got a Java programmer job after my first application. Easier than getting a tech support job
Then again, the code you posted is awfully shitty and useless
Had an idea on how to bypass youtube censorship. What does /g/ think?
Users install a browser add on.
Add on detects a partially censored video page.
Injects its own external comment section with the comments hosted on an external service.
Etc. for likes/dislike ratio etc etc.
I think a bigger issue is lack of embeddability.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SJNVb0GnPI
We generally want to go in the opposite direction of injecting objects into the page
>>62112654
Not a bad idea desu, sounds quite fun to make actually.
