It's not allowed on the google app store but you can manually install it, it's not that big a deal
>>
>>62116737
Yes.

Whether it's retarded or not, it's a legitimate addon, and the only reason it's being blocked is because google and other big ad networks are understandably upset. The excuse of "malware" is repeated now and then, but that's completely unsubstantiated.

That being said it does load in ads so it may slow down page loads if you're on a shitty connection
>>
Well, let's say there's a company you dislike and they sell products named A through Z. What would be more effective: not buying anything from them or buying all their products so they can't know which one you bought the most?

If you want help:
>Assemble parts list
https://pcpartpicker.com/
>State the budget for your build (and country if not USA)
>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate
>Clarify your goal for build improvements: lower price or improved specs?
How to assemble a PC, select components & more (outdated)
https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php?title=Build_a_PC

CPUs:
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560 - poverty-tier builds (No dGPU)
>R3 1200 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R3 1300x - Good stop-gap between the 1500x and the 1200, only get a 1400 if you absolutely need multithreading
>R5 1500x - Good but up to 1600 if you can
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage; 1600x if you want higher stock clocks
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use; Not for just gaming

GPUs:
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - 1080p@60~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - 1080p@80hz maxed, 1440p@60hz at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 or Vega 56 - 1080p@130hz /1440p@60hz at high
>GTX 1080 - 1080p@144hz / 1440p@60hz maxed, 4k@60hz in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - 1440p@144hz and 4k@60hz maxed/high in many games
>Good fucking luck even getting a VEGA right now

RAM:
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM

General:
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor

Youtube will almost certainly be one of the most difficult parts of Google to defeat. Things the size of it though have faded away before now (look at MySpace, used to be the biggest website on the internet).
>hundreds of millions of people use it on a regular basis, even non normbook or twitter users
>home to just about anything, no matter your interests there will always be content for it
>people as young as 9 are being indoctrinated by shitty political ads and agendas
>kiddies drawn to these people on the platform with millions of followers each

Ideas for stopping this:
-Convince the biggest ((youtubers)) to create a second channel on an alternative platform. It appeals to them more than just abandoning youtube completely and helps build up the opposition website's userbase more.
-Redpill the ((youtubers)) about the shady shit going on, causing them in turn to redpill their audiences and perhaps encourage them to move to the opposition
-More anti Google propaganda and stuff being spread across social media, the standard stuff we're already hopefully doing.

Due to all the issues with major tech companies silencing free speech, I thought it would be a cool side-project to create a mobile platform for open, uncensored communication.

This brings a few issues though (and if anyone has an answer that would be great).

1. What is the current climate of free-speech applications for iOS/Android? (I've read several apps being taken down from Google Play/App Store, should my product be distributed just the APK off the net?)

2.Due to easy integration, my choice was using Firebase. But what polices does Firebase have for storing/sending communications? (I have a business account with Google and I'm talking to them now about this.)

3. If Firebase isn't worthwhile, how hard is it to find a dedi server provider that will allow free speech?

4. How liable am I to ensure no law-breaking content is posted? How liable am I if that occurs and isn't taken down immediately?

That's iOS anyways, google you're more likely to be fine

>3. If Firebase isn't worthwhile, how hard is it to find a dedi server provider that will allow free speech?
Make it a P2P application instead

>4. How liable am I to ensure no law-breaking content is posted? How liable am I if that occurs and isn't taken down immediately?

This is entirely based on where you live. Assuming US, you'll probably be fine as long as you take it down within a reasonable time.
>>
>>62116339

How would P2P work in this scenario? An omegle/chatroulette ripoff would work, but how about something more thread/post based?

I'm based in Canada but typically use U.S. servers
>>
>>62116431
you'd need a distributed ledger.
I'm willing to help as long as it isn't alt-right focused. I'm left libertarian free speech.

The tech lead behind the Daily Stormer just posted this and says it is interesting how they haven't done this to pedo or drug sites.

Hey, Windows haters. Here's a simple challenge for you. If Windows is spying on its users at all times like you claim, why can't you produce a packet capture which proves this?

It's sold as a "feature" of Windows that it has telemetry and a bunch of features that ping the internet by default. Why do we need to provide a packet capture to prove that these "features" exist, unless you think that Microsoft is lying? In which case why are you trusting them with your private information?
