Why has the US never produced a good bolt-action rifle?
4 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>62064060
It produced good enough bolt actions (Springfield) then moved forward. Rifles are tools for killing, not autism. Things important to spergtards aren't important in battle.
I know you must sperg spergingly, so take all your money and invest in modern CNC billet production of spergnuggets. They can take AK mags, be covered with Pickaninny rail, and have nice triangular bayonets made from Damascus steel. You could make bullet trap rifle grenades to fit the rifle barrel for maximum boomy. For sidearms, tactiqueer Obreznurgets could have a 10-guage shotgun underneath.

Got any more troll questions?

Ordered an open box Aorus x5 v6 from Newegg to serve as my one machine to replace my Ryzen 1700x/GTX 970 desktop and my Lenovo Y500 laptop.

Not very fucked. Get a cooling pad for it and you'll be OK.
>>
>>62063851

I'm slightly worried about the open box thing - newegg's disclosure on open boxes is pretty scary (they don't even guarantee that it will come with a charger).

My past experience with open boxes have been that they were merely returns, so I'm hoping that it's the full package with the bookbag and all of that.

Write a bootstrapping compiler in C, use that to compile your actual compiler, then compile it again using the real compiler

Does anyone know where I can get broken electronics cheap?
I'm looking for a vintage tv, either 60's/70's or those gnarly black 90's tv's, for an art project so I don't need it in working order.
Someone once told me years ago about a site that deals in broken tech for people to play with but I can't remember the name.

Inb4 Ebay I've already looked there

Craigslist, Kijiji, Gumtree.

Going to write screening test of Deloitte /g/,I hardly have any prominent skill to show off, like a Github code or any practical application, only work I have started on is barely done,a web app,a notepad like, only fucking experience I have is basics of HTML,CSS,BOOTSTRAP,MVC shit with REST functions in Ruby on Rails.

And other trivial shit like writing a DFS code on Java,C and C++,

https://www.scribd.com/document/357111672/BTA-JD-Updated?secret_password=RXssvEA1MEAcKJyM1F0G

This is the full requirement for the post for which I am applying, and I have exactly 6 hours to fill up my profile in order to be eligible for the screening, how should I design my resume without sounding like a scam when they actually interrogate me,I have exactly 4 days with me,if I passed that screening test I will be called for an interview, now this is where things will start to get ugly, they will ask the shit I wrote in my resume and I don't want to labeled as a scam in my first interview,so what should I add in resume, that will convince them that I am good learner, whatever I will be writing,I have account them If I passed the test, keep in mind I have 4-6 days tops, any menial projects that will look good, any arduino shit,I have one board right now,I can reverse engineer a project and explain them how shit works? I have 1 more year left in college, and because of autism I didn't had any significant past achievements like these.

they use,but I want to assure them that I am worth the job, only in a 10 minute interview.

What should I cite? A menial task in Java which can be backtracked and implemented?suggest please

You can write that you're capable of putting space after punctuation. 4 days seems enough to learn that, so it won't be a lie.
>>
>>62063319
If you cannot get this done in time, which I think is unlikely, you might as well start planning for next year's tests.
- work on your Linkedin profile
- join an open source project - a new project has more room for growth and making an impression
- autism aside, do make sure you interact with people on the mailing list

If you have autism you might not hold up well in "interrogation". And keep in mind that the interviewer most likely is experienced and can tell a fraud on sight. Stay honest.

Sure, I know that is easy to say, and I have lost out in a lot of job interviews. In the end it turned out to be for the best.

Best of luck, anon.

Greetings, /g/entlemen
After playing the role of tech support for no charge whatsoever for my uncle's for more a decade, he decided to be a good soul and got me a pre-packaged HP desktop as a gesture of gratitude

Should've asked me before getting something tech-related, but can't blame the old sport

Anyway, it's says on the product info that it is an HP 406 G1 MT Bussiness PC, so I'm probably guessing he got me a PC from his workplace. It's got Intel core i7 4770 CPU @3.40 GHz (8 CPUS), a single 4gb 1600mhz RAM module and Intel HD graphics 4600 (shows 1792 MB approx in dxdiag)
What's the verdict? What things am I capable of running with such an configuration? Also, I intend to upgrade my rig with 4 more gigs of ram and an Nvidia GTX 1050ti OC edition. But I got some doubts:
1. This shit is under warranty from hp, so will opening the case to insert the new parts void my warranty? Heard hp has been quite jewish with their warranty practices in the past
2. Will this support the aforementioned graphic card?
Here's the manual for this shit
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04582973
The PSU requirement checks out but I'm skeptical about the PCI slot
Also, does hp do jewish shit like locking the BIOS so that its not possible to change hardware?

>>
>>62062548
Just look out for stickers on the side panel that extends to the back. Without a sticker, it probably okay to open it. Business PCs usually do not come with such stickers, which means you can open it without voiding your warranty.
The PCIe slot will be fine as long as it is x16 physical.
>lock BIOS so that its not possible to change hardware
That only applied to some arcade consoles like the Taito Type X, which is locked to the HDD and have a non-eraseable BIOS password that is not made known to the end user. They are using conventional Intel CPUs and motherboards made from common OEMs such as MSI in the case of Taito X3.

>i7-4770
Oh, that's pretty nice. Not the newest shit, but 4c8t Intel is fucking good value to get like this, Core i7s don't come cheap.
