I really like i3 because it makes better use of my small laptop screen space but god damn these babys first ricers are making me feel ashamed for using it.
>>
One can really see that this is your first rice, using the standard Polybar.
But if you like it that way, fine.
It looks good.

Something weird happened just a moment ago.
I booted up my computer and for some reason it got stuck on a dark screen. It went through BIOS and then just "froze". I went and looked in the BIOS and found that all other fan speeds were operating at 300rpm but CPU was going at 1100rpm. Anyways, I went ahead and chose the revert to the last working settings and it worked, only that my boot time got a tad bit longer, 3-5 seconds.
I have no idea what could have been the reason, failing hardware?

What's the absolute worse thing that a US based ISP can do to someone who actively pirates DMCA'd content?
If the only protection is to pay for a VPN, why not just buy/rent the content?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>62094400
They can refuse to business with you, cutting you off.

Because 5 movies or 2 video games can cost more than a years worth of VERY expensive VPN.
>>
actually buying/renting forces you to use obnoxious proprietary software, usually requires you to stream it and can't use mpv
>>
>>62094400
They can notify authorities who can grab a search warrant under the table and seize your PC.

Should we kill javascript?

>>
>>62094339
I don't really care one way or the other. I'd just have to go back to hitting F5 here. Wouldn't affect me anywhere else.

Of course, you could just do that yourself with NoScript, and allow nothing.

Please god yes

My dumb ass tried to create a simple server/client using javascript.

I cannot upload generated images. It literally sends blobs of data instead.

Looking for simple alternatives to MDT. Anyone here working in IT Administration and using something similar to deploy machines? We thought about going for SCCM but it's expensive and way too complex for the simple task we need to accomplish. Deploy PCs and join them to a Domain in a LTI fashion. It doesn't need to be ZTI.

Is Target a botnet? Why or why not?

>>
>>62094250
In what way do you think that it might be a botnet?
>>
>>62094253
That one time they thought some girl was pregnant and it turned out she actually was without knowing is one of the instances where it behaves just like a botnet.
Don't even get me started on Target's AP either.
>>
>>62094285
I don't understand how they could possibly know that if she wasn't at least searching around the site for pregnancy shit. It's not like they are taking urine samples and testing every woman that pisses in the store.

It uses telemetry like botnet and old extensions which used to rely on unfettered access to its internals are broken by sandboxing (like botnet's).

Does anyone know how to setup an internet network? I just need my PS4 hooked up with good connection and possibly under $150. I also want it to be secure. I know it's a stupid question but I really don't want to ask the employees at BestBuy. Evidently, I'm not using my computer to submit this inquiry. The image is of irrelevance.

*I don't know much about technology (obviously).

Internet network? Wachu mean?
>>
You need access to a phone line, and then you need to go online or call an internet provider.

There are many and they offer different deals. Typically, one pays a monthly fee of around $20. If you are a cuckburger, you will only one provider and they will rape you on cost. Then you will receive a modem, and you plug that into the phone socket and follow the instructions.

Good day, anon.
