My interest in technology lead to me studying technology in university, and now I'm working with technology. So yeah, it has improved my life.

Why is Captcha so hard and buggy to use?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>62138003
because AI is getting smarter and they're pressuring us to do more work.
>>
>>62138003
I'm pretty sure recaptcha is sourced from books. anything could slip in there.
>>
>>62138003
Captchas were invented 20 years ago when computer vision was a joke. Back then it was impressive when your computer could recognize a cat in a picture 3% of the time.

Now machine vision has vastly improved and is surpassing human accuracy at many tasks. People sell software and services to break captchas for trivial amounts of money. Or you can just outsource it to a bunch of indians.

So they've responded by ratcheting up the difficult and changing shit as frequently as possible to try to break the spammers systems. And this causes trouble for meat machines as well.

How does /g/ deal with normies who say that "programming is not a real job because you're staring into computer screen all day?"

- So no office job is a "real" job then?

- Maybe you don't feel like it's a real job, but my pay check sure feels pretty real to me.

Show them your bank and then look at their bank, subtract the difference and tell them thats how many fucks you give.
>>
>>62137311
Don't they stare at a phone screen all day? Or split their time between a phone, tv, or laptop screen? What difference does it make what you're glued to, you're still glued to it.

I do not know how to program, but I would like to start working as a freelancer, which one or which programming languages should I learn?

I thought of php, for web development and C # for mobile development (ios / android).

I would like to learn in the next 6 to 12 months and make a profit of $ 5 / h

The fact that you specified 10 implies you're ok with Windows, just not 10. In which case you're the retard.
