Sometimes I can hear my CPU whining when doing large tasks.
I'll open up a large, JS-heavy website and it'll start whining almost immediately and the whining doesn't stop.
Oftentimes, there isn't even anything moving on the page, it's just a news article.

What the fuck is it doing, and why does it use so many processor cycles?

So have a desktop and a laptop and my go to in the past has always been Synergy, but I'm using wayland on Linux, and that doesn't work with Synergy.

Besides disabling wayland, what are my other options - what other products could I use?

does /g/ know of any pdf-editing software that can automatically align text on top of the lines that sit underneath?

i have serious ocd when it comes to this shit and unironically go out of my way to shift text so it sits on each line perfectly

Gearbest seems to be getting rid of the model. It's pretty nice, haven't used it for very long (I received it last Friday) but the battery is as good as they say. The camera is meh. The build is lovely, metal and glass like the older iPhones. Not the fastest SOC, but fast enough and efficient.

Cost me 220 or something like that, now they're selling it for 211.
