Sound and keyboard works . I've turned it off ,turned it on . Made sure the brightness was on, but its just pitch black .
You should not have gotten a macbook. If there is an issue with your device's hardware then you cannot fix it.

Did you get water on the keyboard... its easy to fuck up the back light like that...
What search engine do you use and why?

>My search engine.
Hotbot
>Reason.
It's objectivley the fastest search engine (look up the analytics if you don't believe me). Plus the UI is superior to Google etc (much cleaner, more descriptive) and it doesn't track youre behavior like other search engine do. Plus, it's been around for so long (1996) that is has a deeper catolouge than many of the major engines (google etc). Plus, the integration across the various programs I use is superb
DuckDuckGo is very fast and provides no-nonsense research results that are actually useful. All this with privacy as bonus.

is http://gen.lib.rus.ec/ good for getting free college textbooks? is the site safe? Sould I use a VPN?
>>58658371
C'mon boys I need answers. dont let this 404.
>>58658371
Yes it's safe, its a mirror of libgen from when the main site was taken offline. You can also use libgen.io same site.
I rarely use it anymore since I have a bibliotik account and yes I have invites and no I won't invite you. If you're still lurking and need a book that isn't on libgen I can check bib and snatch it for you.
>>58658514
Thanks for the info. I found all my books so no need to check elsewere.
> they unironically write HTML that is not fully validated with 0 errors and 0 warnings from w3.org
Why are you so irresponsible? I personally can't allow myself to publish anything like that.
Besides, it's fun to see what you do has no errors at all and it's perfect job.
>>58658313
I don't write HTML.
CSS makes my eyes bleed but is essentially a necessity for any formatting since HTML formatting is mostly depreciated.
>>58658313
I get 1 warning, but fuck you I'm not fixing it.

Why is frontend or webdev in general considered to be easier than other fields? It's a giant clusterfuck of frameworks and technologies that constantly change and impossible to make sense of.
>>58658087
where is this meme perpetuated? It's just a internet thing. People are always trying to put themselves above others
frontend industry is trying to purposely put itself in a clusterfuck state so there will be a dependence on employing webdevs for their shitty 5 page small site. Think of it as a job security agenda. Also devs are easily swayed by a framework because it has a hip logo that will look neat on the face of their laptop so other devs can get rustled and jelly they're not using an obscure framework that other people probably don't know about.
>>58658087
it's all in a normie web browsers sandboxed interpreter

You can have 1TB of RAM and for drivers to use 1GB is still too much.

what prevents people from hiding their realized trade gains from the IRS with pic related strategy?
>buy crypto with USD
>crypto goes up, sell for a penny more to yourself
>cash back out on your taxable end
>hide sweet gains on the other end with vpn and cold storage
do people do this?
Nothing, which is why the IRS has such a stick up their ass about bitcoin
Nothing on the block chain is anonymous honestly.
If you buy BTC with real cash, you are putting yourself at risk of being found.
The only way you can have anonymous gains with BTC is to mine it yourself.
>>58657857
so what if you buy prepaid visa and use that to buy btc? how would they know if you used public wifi + vpn
