Does any anon know where to buy a quad core 2013 mac pro for under $1000? I been seriously trying to find one for the past couple of days and most of them range from $2000 and up for even the most basic mac pro. I sold my old tosibla laptop for $300 and save up about $400 and be wanting something like a 2013 mac pro
Can something please tell there is a place where you can buy this computer for cheap?
If you want to buy a trashbin you can go about anywhere

With other browsers filling with bloat, why doesn't /g/ use GNOME's built in browser?
It's as simple as a browser could get.
because gtk3 looks like ass

>the other tab
Fucking faggot
>>58686676
>what is a gtk theme
>middle click a link
>get a new tab with "javascript:void(0);" in the address bar
>click wrong thing on page
>click back button on mouse
>goes to "new tab"
>try to go back
>end up on previous website
>all navigation was being handled within the same page
>click anywhere on a site
>it spawns a popup
What does /g/ think of the current 'Material' or flat design language in modern OS?
>>58686522
Makes the old design look like eye cancer.
>>58686522
Lazy shit like that can fuck right off
>>58686522
Lets people get to the point of the app rather than wasting time doing graphic design that won't be appreciated
>oh wow that's one beautiful upload button
This kind of person (we all know one) who:
while knowing how to put together a computer, they usually just buy the most expensive parts they can.
"32gb ram", when asked if they can actually notice that: "of course [lists 5 apps they leave running]
gets 2 GPU's of the latest and greatest
gets whatever overkill CPU newest one from Intel is out
etc
So in general, they understand what the hardware does, but they think that more simply = more performance, and they don't seem to care about the overkill and how they're not going to get good value etc.
Usually they act like what you'd call other 'normies', probably saying that they're such a "nerd" on their facebook, idk.
You know, I'm not hateful or bitter towards them. People can do whatever makes em happy. But have we made up a slang word for this yet? Because ime it's becoming more common.

>put URL of the huge photo just uploaded into the download from website feature
>it works
>yfw you realize that you can make his website ddos itself by uploading and downloading the same picture from itself over and over again
Anybody else have some entertaining tech fails. I'm in a laughing mood
How do you know it's not smart enough to cache it
>>58686285
I figured out it caches the photo if you upload from the same URL. So I thought what if you could upload it to the website which changes the URL, then use the website to download its own image.
It gave me a long ass waiting time for every single instance I triggered the site to upload and download from itself so it wasn't caching the image. It also gave a unique URL for every single photo despite them being the same.
>>58686270
>25mb of disk space
Wow, keep at it for a few years and they might have to spend 40$ on another hard drive (or just hash every photo and delete duplicates with a bash oneliner).
Which do you use?

white cursors are for plebs & kids.

How do you come up with a username that's unique enough and not cringe worthy or retarded /g/?
>>58686083
You create your email back in 1994 where it could still be a simple, common word.
>>58686083
randomly generate, as long and complex of a string as is allowed. your password manager (you ARE using a password manager in 2017, right?) will just let you copy+paste so you don't have to worry about it being too difficult to type or remember.
What happened to those waifu bots that pol was teaching to be racist.
did anyone of such waifus came with original thoughs?

If they did they'd be one up on /pol/.

Find me a better laptop for a college student. You can't.
>>58686059
surface book
something with actual usb ports
I'll take the bait. 90% of college students don't need anything more than this:

$300
Should I get an SSD? I don't really like messing around with disk stuff and I like to have a single drive icon instead of having two that I have to mess around with. The speed would be nice but, honestly, I'm more comfortable with a standard 2TB 7200RPM HDD.
>2TB 7200RPM HDD
total waste of money
Get a 10TB 5400 RPM HDD instead

Why? It's 2017.

they use that shitty formant encoding to make calls. what y ou're hearing is not the real persons voice but a rendering of it.
We have volLTE and HD voice on cellphones as well as higher quality calling methods what are you talking about
