Holy shit, CyanogenMod is garbage.
>flash CM, corrupts SD card and won't install large apps
>format card and reflash, works
>apps randomly crash
>apps won't start
>phone reboots randomly for no reason
>randomly laggy as shit
I have an LGG3 so while my phone isn't brand new, it shouldn't have this many problems. Is lineageOS more stable or am I going to have to go back to stock?
>>58750033
LineageOS is CyanogenMod. Have to say that Lineage seems smoother but I upgraded from CM13 so it's probably the newer Android doing that (this is on a One Plus One btw).
Definitely give Lineage a try if they have any official roms for your device.
>>58750033
Idk, both CM and Lineage work perfectly for me. It's no one's fault that you're incompetent.

Pretty neato. It appears to use gravity to move by forcing itself off balance.

has anyone used pic related as a daily driver? besides no systemd is there any advantage of using it?
>>58749915
it's basically arch for people too autistic for arch, and too stupid to realize that systemd is the best thing to ever happen to desktop linux
>>58749942
>too autistic to use arch
Who do you think the target audience is for arch?
>>58749942
This except that arch requires autism, too
Looking for a monitor? here you go
Questions about monitors? here you go
Want to talk about monitors? here you go
Looking at getting a 24-26" 1440P IPS monitor.
Would be used for movies, games, photoediting etc.
Is the U2515H a good idea or would a cheaper QNIX be as good?
For photo editing and movie watching you'll want the nicer dell/asus.
I have two PB258Q (the asus version of the dell U2515H).
Great monitors for color accuracy at this price point.
They aren't the best for fast paced games because of the 60hz refresh rate, but you wont find a good color quality IPS with 144hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution for under $600.
>>58749759
That was the only thing about the dell that bothered me. I would be playing most things at 1080 until I upgrade my GPU, but I'm fine with that.
Also yea, fuck the pricing of the more expensive stuff.
>>58749819
yeah the 60hz doesn't bother me for the games I play, and the games I do play i'm getting over 100fps so meh.
I've had these monitors almost a year now and would buy them again.
Guys, what is this shit?

FreeVMS (VMS stands for "virtual memory system") is not another Unix, is a real-time operative system with tight integration with the base system, DCL (DIGITAL Command Language), and also perfect for routers.
Developers are welcome!

Also, where the fuck is my DragonBox Pyra? I ain't preordering shit. All these "open-source" projects are fucking scams.
All I ask for is a tiny GNU/Linux computer.
Why can't they get their shit together?
OpenMoko was shit and died. FireFoxOS died. SailfishOS died. No UMPCs with real keyboards on the market.

I want to draw fanart of a GPL-licensed video game. Does my art also have to be GPL? Would the "preferred form of the work for making modifications to it" be the paper I'm drawing it on since I don't have a tablet, or would 1:1 scans count for it?
IANAL, but it depends.
Is the whole game licensed as GPL/do the game assets have a different license?
>>58749321
GPL is only really meant for code, non-code based assets like graphics and music/sound effects can be licensed under a non-commercial or even proprietary license if you want.
You're the creator so you get to decide how things are licensed.

Nothing says empowerment like "please give me money so I can go to a conference"
how do you solve this le women in coding maymay
>>58748952
You stop being a sexist and being so worried about women making progress. Live and let live.
>>58748952
>PyLadies
I don't get this. Why do feminists complain about not being taken seriously when they themselves can't take women seriously, resorting to creating a separate group just for girl programmers so they can stay relevant.
It's the same thing with the Women's World Chess Championship, and all that crap. How is that "empowering" in any way? It just immediately implies that women stand no chance competing with men.
>>58748960
its not about gender man, I love having women in the workplace as much as I do men if not more honestly, it's about the entitled attitude some have
you can never be 'equal' by their definition if you demand to be treated like a fucking child; expected to applaud that model 'coder' for writing 'ls' in terminal a few times and asking to have shit paid for you - i haven't asked my parents to buy me shit since i was like 11 and remember thinking "wow this is a nice feeling of independence i think i'll stop being a fucking child now and take responsibility for myself"
apparently they haven't reached that point
