I'm probably looking for something that doesn't exist:

A notes taking app that
- works on desktop and mobile
- synchronizes notes between devices (maybe not directly; integrating with dropbox or gdrive)
- you can group notes
- you can customize it (ideally something like atom.io or sublime where you can add in packages/themes at will)

Is there such a thing? I tried the more famous ones like Evernote and ended up with One Note (which is the best for me but still flawed: clunky UI, little customization, no code highlighting, adding plugins is horror)

why is /g/ ALWAYS wrong?

/g/ is just poor and bitter.
>>
>>58763702
That also explains why there is so much shitposting on /g/, and why /g/ tends to heavily favor free products (ie all these shit distros).
>>
Well /g/ being wrong about business matters is nothing new or surprising. Where do you think >>>/biz/ came from?

I am pretty surprised though. I haven't even seen a single pair of Airpods out in the wild yet.I guess all these buyers are using the adapter?

When I experience any kind of problem with Linux, and specially when even numerous forum threads cannot solve it, I get angry. I am mad at this half-working, problems-ridden, apps-lacking piece of shit.
But then I realize Linux is absolutely free and incredible amount of work has been put into it by volunteers and I kind of start appreciating all of the aspects of it. We have a decently working office suite ffs! And that's something we couldn't have imagined in 2003, for example. And the amount of adequate games has increased sufficiently. Thank you all who contributed to the development of that system.

Linux is still a piece of shit.
>>
>>58763640
Yes, but not as smelly as it was 5 years ago.
>>
The thing that buggs me about Linux is the notion that if you need something to work properly, you must pay. Communism won't get you anywhere. And the mire you pay, the more quality product you will have. Yes I am talking about apple.

you can still have that free time while learning anon

find a good/easy project to build for your programming skill level, and put that on one screen while 4chan and documentation are on the other.

Why don't ubuntu users care that Canonical spies on them? Ubuntu is probably the worst gnu+linux distro because it gives the impression that it's "free" but it's just as bad as Google or Apple.

Woah, someone actually cares about intentional spyware?

Good luck trying to even have a honest agreement, because expect all the replies in this thread to be something along the lines of "toe jam" and "communism".

>>58763063
When it comes to ubuntu i will send crash reports and some usage/hardware statistics, but don't opt in for the online amazon search. I hope it will help with determining serious bugs earlier.

>>58763063
Because Stallman said that. Fuck you, Canonical, Stallman and Lonix.

What laptop is this /g/?

The guy on eBay is currently not responding, but I wanna know.

He said it has a 17" display, Intel i5 processor and 8GB DDR3 RAM. He also said he put a new 512GB SSD in it.

What model could this be? It's HP.
