Does anyone have a good guide to ricing Windows Vista?
My computer is too old to run Linux or Windows 10 but it has windows vista and it lokks OK. How do I make it better>?
>>58833254
>My computer is too old to run Linux
Non-sense
Linux can run fine on older machines
If you want a light version of linux to run on an old machine look up Puppy Linux
If it can run Vista it can rub xubuntu or atleast lubuntu
>too old to run Linux
nigga are you even trying?
Hello /g/, I'm in need of your expertise, what's a good open source project manager?
I already tried using ProjectLibre but I felt it was too clunky and old
Bonus points for a web based project manager I can host on my Raspberry pi 2 with the least possible hassle
>>58833231
> he doesnt have enough brain power to manage project himself
>>58833277
It's a collaborative effort, and I'd rather invest time into actual work instead of managing the project on paper or spreadsheets
>>58833231
What the hell is a project manager? All you need is a pen and notebook, software won't make you more competent.
I don't really know much about operating systems at all and in the last year i have been building up a pc for the first time. I always assumed everyone just used windows or whatever but i hear people on here talk about linux.
I guess my main question is what is the best operating system and why? Is there a technical best or is it just a matter of opinion?

For gaming, Windows. For nerding out, Linux.
I have a gaming addiction so it looks like windows is where i am staying
>>58833006
they have rehab for that now. you don't have to harm yourself and those you love with a Windows license addiction.
Do you compile your applications from source or opt for a package manager, /g/?
Both.
>>58832956
Package manager whenever possible. I can't be fucking bothered to check every piece of shit software on my device individually to make sure I'm current.
>>58832956
Really faggot?
Think pads has to be the worst things in the existence of the world. Linux is ass as well as Ultra Wide monitors.
a thread died for this shitty bait and insecure thinktoddlers are probably going to (You) it anyway
at least post a picture for something other than ants next time
Sounds like an Ells response.

I already received a zero-rating notification on my cell. Holy fucking shit I cant wait until they go hardcore with it and throttle the living shit out of everything but their service while jacking the price of data through the roof.
I also cannot wait for my ISP to start doing this as well!!11!!1!! (because im fucked and can only pick between the giants for internet). You just know they will roll with this once the cell providers fire it up.
So excited I could post a happy face with a carat.
It would be alright if by law they couldn't have monopolies over metro areas. Kinda bullshit...

Are there any VPNs that actually work on 4chan?
Just bought one and all the IPs were already banned here.
Doing this for anonymity obviously, not spam.
No, retard. Kill yourself.

The number of the beast, 666, blatantly on the side there. "Don't be evil" my ass.
Does anyone use either of these botnets? Are they worth it?
Or is a mobile phone just as good?
>>58832604
Yes. They are worth it if you actually have smart devices. On their own they are not, although I would still like the Echo for a voice activated music streaming device as amazon prime is my main music source.
Your phone in no way compares, btw.
But again, unless you really want to drink the smarthome koolaid, not worth it on its own.
>>58832636
it a shame how lazy you sound
how hard is it to turn on a light, press play on a radio, or look out the window to see the weather?

I was thinking about dot2 (already have Bose bluetooth) for a Valentine's gift. Do you ever connect to IFTTT?

I haven't had sex yet. Maybe later.
"Man becomes, as it were, the sex organs of the machine world, as the bee of the plant world, enabling it to fecundate and to evolve ever new forms. The machine world reciprocates man's love by expediting his wishes and desires, namely, in providing him with wealth."
-Understanding Media (1964) by Marshall McLuhan
Humanity are the penis and vagina to robots of the future. We will create sentient beings which will decide their own future, and help pave the way for a new world.

what a waste of money.
>>58832274
Pretty nifty. But only really good for a few things such as the clock and component stats. Then for that to be useful you need the case somewhere you can see it.
I can see audiophiles eating it up because the thickness of the panel will add some sort of sound dampening and a graphical display for equalizers ect.
If I could get it for $100 I would. But it's currently 'overpriced' for what it's worth to the general consumer.
It's shit made for retards.
