Should I fap the night before a discrete math midterm?
>>58861087
Go to 4chan.org/b/ for that shit
Also why does it matter, it doesnt fucking alter your memory.
>>58861087
I always get a comfy night's sleep after fapping in the shower standing up with really hot water pouring my face.
The afterglow is really something else.
Also, this has nothing to do with /g/
>>58861087
Wait you don't fap every night?
What exactly was Apple's goal with removing 3.5mm? It makes no sense for wireless earbuds to be a thing
Charging $$$ for lost or broken lightning to jack adapters.
>>58861032
they put a barometric sensor where the jack used to be, they care a great deal about air pressure.
>>58861032
Wireless is much more convenient though.
You'd know this if you ever left your moms basement
Do you pronounce Gentoo with a hard or soft 'g'?
soft
hard but apparently it's supposed to be soft?
>>58861000
That's what they said about GIF. But I didn't listen!
ITT: Programming languages that will never become popular.
>>58861577
It's a horrid a language, but far from being unpopular.
So my 1050 ti that just got here yesterday black screened in me while playing fallout nv. Rebooted and I get green lines during boot up until I get to the login screen, where everything goes black. I'm so fucking livid /g/ how do I fix this, if there is even a fix? Pic related, temp of card after I pulled it out, about 5 minutes after the crash
You gotta take the plastic static baggy off before you use it senpai
>>58860859
I'm aware of that
In all seriousness though, could just be a borked card, I got a 750 ti a while ago and I had to send back in, luckily Newegg is pretty good about that kind of stuff.
The only other thing I'd suggest is make sure it's properly ventilated? Try checking the temps in your build without the card?
I have an interview tomorrow for a company using
Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Spring RestController, Jquery, angularJS, Apache Tomcat, and JFPL.
I've never used JFPL before / don't know anything about it.
I was wondering if you guys could help me prepare for the interview? Is there anything about these techs I should know? Which tech does what, etc.
If you recently graduated, or are finishing up at a college/university that has a license for Lynda.com, or if you just have your own account, I would recommend using that site. It has a lot of helpful tutorials and videos about a lot of different subjects. I just found a video about creating a RESTful Spring Boot microservice in JPA. As for the other subjects I'm sure that you could find videos on those too.
If you've got this far they probably just want you to know the JS side with some basic java. It sounds like they're stuck behind Java. You'll just need to learn the Spring and Hibernate stuff on the job.
Honestly, I'd fucking run. Java is incidental complexity. All of it.
>>58860773
I know Spring and Hibernate already, I'm not a fan of Java, but yeah, the Job is going to be using a lot of Java and JS,

no college degree, one isn't needed to be a professional programmer.

I'm a 3 star programmer now!

So why shouldn't i use Google Drive?
cause muh botnet
I use it for saving my projects and documents it is alright if botnet can see it its not like they care much.
I use it. It's amazing and it has made our life at small offices great. But, I would never put something up there that Google shouldn't be seeing.
I encrypt ev including filenames. Very fast, I personally max out speeds
Don't tell yourself problems just to give up on something
Explain why the "embrace, extend, extinguish" meme isn't just the screeching of those that fail at capitalism. There is nothing stopping you from beating anyone else on the market. If you can't beat them stop screeching and accept your defeat.
Microsoft even accepts defeat and moves on right now as we speak. They Open Sourced to the MIT Licence the entirety of the base of the .NET code. More parts will soon follow. They openly support the use of Git and they even have it preinstalled on the default installation of Visual Studio.
You see, sometimes it's you that failed at the game, it's not others cheated, those others fail too and move on, why don't you do the same? The game can not be rigged. This is real life. The game is the game.

Sexy technology thread.
I'm going to start with a few keyboards but feel free to post whatever gets your gears going.
>>58860371
link to the keyboard?
>>58860371
That looks like utter shit, but fuck if anyone will change you /mkg/ autist's minds about real aesthetics.
Makes no fucking sense. Also what the fuck is a "virtual" method of covariance?
>>58860358
If you can read the definition of a virtual method and understand it, you'll understand why the method prints 2 when called.
use a gentoo method instead

OCULUS AND HTC ON SUICIDE WATCH

I truly think the rift and vive are overpriced for their own good. Hopefully it takes a Chinese brand or outside company to really create a VR headset at a value, but I don't think this headset is the one to do so.
VR works best with a OLED screen, a fast response time and a high refresh rate which I doubt this has.
Also this must have displayport 1.4 to actually work at 8k, but you're still set back to 60hz.
Putting a higher res screen doesn't substitute color reproduction and the missing 30Frames to have smooth 90FPS VR
>>58861037
there actually made one, the same company, Pimax, they made a 4k VR headset for a $370, this is just their new model
sadly it just a 60hz panel
http://www.gearbest.com/pc-headset/pp_423476.html
>>58861103
Yeah, but it's using HDMI 1.4 which limits its output at 4k 30hz.
I do think PiMax knows what they're doing wrong, but it's probably hard for them to find a company that produces and sells small 4k screens at 90hz.
