Of course I know..but I want to know if there are some way I can use to have telephone functions with gentoo, maybe with some special kernel or some particular package..probably you don't have the idea of gentoo's potential.

Hi guys, I'm just starting out coding in college and I can't seem to find an answer for this.

So i've got a 2D array of type Being (which is my superclass, the subclasses are "fish" and "bear", and they require a name and X and Y locations for the 2d array.), and i want to print out the name at the location to display the 5x5 array i have.

However, when i do this it instead prints out the memory location instead of the name.
How can i fix this? I expect it to be printing "Alpha" at location [0][0].

Will post print method and superclass next.

Apologies if this isn't necessarily following G's rules, I don't ever post here, but I thought you guys would know.

Here is my superclass im calling from for the fish and bear subclasses.
They dont have any differences yet, except later on i will add that if a fish is put at the same location as a bear, it becomes null.
>>
>>58861974

You're not even putting the fish into the river, you're just saying they are fish

you need to say;

River[0,0] = new Fish("alpha,0,0);
River[1,2] = new Fish("fish2",1,2); etc..

Buy an SSD /g/ said...

Well, I did and now 9 months after, I checked my SMART and SSD stats and it's fucking unbelievable. I'm at 25% of the theoretical MTBF for my drive. Basically, by the end of this year, I'll be around 50-60% and then it's a gamble when my SSD will die and I'll lose everything unless I back up on time.

Biggest culprit seems to be:

1) torrenting apps (they absolutely trash the disk since they do millions of small 16KB writes.

2) Spotify - total garbage app that writes hundreds of gigs of data per day (sometimes over 700GB/day: https://bgr.com/2016/11/13/spotify-has-been-quietly-killing-your-ssds-life-for-months/ ).

3) Chrome/Firefox - both are horrible and write gigs of junk per hour. They've been fixing this issue so this won't be as bad in the future (or already).

End result is that your overly-optimistic "4-5 year" SSD life will be halved.

Are there any fixes? Anyone know of any Torrent clients that are optimized for SSD usage since torrenting is the biggest culprit, by far?

>The flaw in Intel's Atom C2000 family of chips has been vexing Intel's hardware customers for at least a year and a half, according to a source at one affected supplier, but it wasn't immediately obvious that Intel's silicon was to blame.

>The well-placed insider, who spoke to The Register on condition of anonymity, said the problem – which results in bricked systems – became apparent to engineers at product makers when the return rate on gear spiked about 18 months ago.

>It took additional time to figure out that Intel's hardware was responsible. The vendor in question worked with Intel engineers during this period to replace affected units under manufacturer warranty. Then about two months ago, Intel acknowledged the issue was with its chip blueprints, the source said.

The Apple iPhone 7 Plus doesn't have this problem.

A lot of these went into embedded systems, and they cannot be replaced. Expect intel to get sued big over this.

Are used Macbooks a shitty investment? I need a decent computer for music production and having done quite a bit of research I feel paralyzed by knowledge.

I love linux but the DAW I wish to use is not native there.
Windows 10 is hideous and in my experience a resources hog (am I wrong?) compared to the Linux distros I've used, but everything works on it.
Mac """"""just works""""" but the hardware you get seems unimpressive for the price. And the new Macbooks have that weird lack of ports which I find off putting.

I wish some one would just tell me what to do. I just want a system that doesnt get in the way of me recording and ultra low latency and the ability to use Reaper.

Dear god I am beaten.
