>4chan is an English-language imageboard website. Users generally post anonymously, with the most recent posts appearing above the rest. 4chan is split into various boards with their own specific content and guidelines. Registration is not required, nor is it possible (except for staff).
>Launched on October 1, 2003, its boards were originally used for posting pictures and discussing manga and anime, as the site was modeled on Japanese imageboards, particularly 2chan. The site quickly became popular and expanded, though much of 4chan's content still features otaku, anime, and other Japanese cultural influences.

Is there any facile way to set sleep delay properly? Like not setting it noticing which delay is proper to use, just letting the computer know which delay time is proper to set so the script operation can't be tangled with each other
Does any /g/ have any idea for it?

Now that I can finally build sites using html, css and some js magic I still don't actually know how to make my sites look decent.
Until now I always sticked to the materialmeme guidelines to make my sites look somewhat modern and not 2005ish. But I'm slowly getting sick of the same cards, 16px padding and roboto font look.
What are good and free resources to learn and practice modern webdesign?

>But I'm slowly getting sick of the same cards, 16px padding and roboto font look.
We're sick of it too. We want to see YOUR website, not a clone of Google's.
>>58875754
To be fair. It has its advantages.
>it looks good on both mobile and desktop devices
>cards are easy to be made responsive and scale well at all resolutions
>you can create quick front ends for your web applications
>it looks clean and doesn't require a lot of css and html
besides that it gets annoying very quickly.
Just learn how to use a fucking framework already.
You can only go as far memorizing html elements, css and "some js magic", this ain't complicated, it takes a weeks on your own to learn this stuff down.
Get your ass to Traversy channel on youtube and learn bootstrap, you'll be amazed when you realize you don' need to reinvent the wheel every time.
Help! Was using omegle, when someone found my IP.. next thing I know, they got my social media accounts. What the fuck happened?
Curious how they did this?
I was in video chat.
You didn't click any links, didn't you?
I showed my dick there once, how can you fuck up this hard
>>58875840
I am positive I clicked no such links. or anything.. how the hell did this happen?
I have had an issue with my USB 3.0 speeds for years and was never able to resolve the issue. I'm getting 7MBps it doesn't matter if I use a usb 2.0 port it's always slow.
I have tried disabling legacy usb support, updating usb 3.0 drivers enabling better performance/write cache, front/back ports, different drives etc etc but nothing works.

Windows 7 x64
Mobo: X79A-GD65
USB driver: Renesas Electronics
USB 2.0 supports 280Mbps. Use a drive that doesn't peak at 7 you moron.

I know your point still stands but that would be 35MB/s

I want to make a robot
>>58874739
If you want to make a robot, the field you are looking for is electronics, not the straight up programming most people do on /g/.
I find building robots (and gadgets in general) to be one of the more funs things to do, so i'm with ya on that.
If you want to jump straight into the professional shit go into "The art of electronics".
Most hobbists are ok with arduino, though, so you can start from there. i personally don't like it.
Start reading and give it a try, OP. you'll probably have to GTFO off this board though.
>>58874739
Read some of the "concept" tutorials on sparkfun.com. Go to the tutorial section, and select the tag "concepts". These are going to explain the basics of embedded computing and help you to kickstart your journey of robot building.
If you want into robotics you should learn low level language like assembly
And how electronics too
Competitive programming not included.

What's the best text-to-speech software out there? Is there anything that is actually pleasant to listen to and doesn't feel robotic? Like the developers put actual thought into the syntax and the intonation going up and down at the right times?
Is it already possible to put a full book into a software and sit back and enjoy it?

Do you think that Windows 10, MacOS, or major DE's will add tiling modes? I'm not talking about shitty window snapping, but a mode that allows for window control using key bindings to open/close/move windows (like WM's) that also strips window decorations/title bars in order to have more usable screen real estate
>tfw just want good tiling and features instead of scripting every bit of functionality into a WM

>>58874922
I can understand your concern for small resolutions, such as the one in pic related.
But with big resolutions there's so much wasted space for elements that you could afford to do it no problem.
>>58874342
No, because normal people don't have time to be autistic manchildren like you while they work in excel and adobe.
