I have a shitty Dell Inspiron 15 laptop from 2014.

It constantly overheats and the fan makes all kinds of hellish noises. I've tried cleaning the vents and fan inside after taking it apart, etc, I've updated the BIOS and drivers-- didn't budge.

Can anyone help?

I don't understand nbn and need to ask a stupid question. Everyone on my street except me was put on HFC a month ago, but after 5 calls, each half an hour long, apparently my copper cables are fucked, and now I'm at the mercy of nbn for eternity until they decide what they want to do.

My question is thus;
Why can't I pay an nbn subcontractor $10+k privately to install FTTP while the rest of my pleb neighbours enjoy peak congestion? It should be reasonable since they haven't fucking done any work on my property anyway, and they'll need to replace the wiring.
Alternatively, can I install fttp through some other bullshit fibre provider and then switch to a different telco's fibre plans? I don't want to pay $499 a month for internet, and especially don't want to be stuck using shitty 'hybrid technology'.

Is this phone better than the Moto X Style as I'm searching for a 5inch phone with decent specs and I'm not into flashing custom roms if I'm gettimg this as I like Xperia UI, I'm mostly into the design and camera.

Lookin for a budget (even chink) player under $75 that has a nice interface or rockbox can be installed. I want one that can old up to 256gb and play FLAC. Have good battery life and I want it to have a screen that isn't the size of a fun size hersheys. I will hook up a fiio device (amp) to it and possibly look into DACs. What do you recommend /g/?

New Delhi: The second phase of Apple Inc.’s plan to make the iPhone in India is hanging in the balance as the firm awaits government approvals and tax breaks that it says are key to making a profit, a person aware of Apple’s plans for the market said.

“Else, it doesn’t make sense for Apple to import components by paying heavy duties from other parts of the world to assemble and sell here,” the person said on condition of anonymity.
