I decided to apply for a sr. tech position at the very large business I already work at, and after a couple interviews I get the sense that I am their first choice. Ive been hearing good things from my current manager, ect.
Is there way to negotiate a salary offer when HR already knows how much I make. I feel like I cant win here
How can you be old enough to apply for a senior position, yet be too much beta to negotiate your salary
Let me explain the Patel theory to you.
Microsoft hires Pajeets named Patels to run the information industry, but who runs the Pajeets when the Pajeets have the runs?
The Patels?

What does /g/ think about VMWare and it's survival in tech?
>>62159792
wtf has it survived? They're a tech leader. VMware has arguably impacted server infrastructure more than any other company.

Old news. Also it doesn't disable it, it's not possible to completely disable ME without bricking the processor.

Is Dolby Vision vs HDR10 going to be the new Blu Ray vs HD-DVD or the new DTS vs Dolby Digital? In other words, do you think they will continue as competing formats, or that the wide adoption of one will kill off the other? The whole HDR10+ shit complicates things even further, as there are now going to be three different major possibilities for what type of HDR your device can display, and what type of HDR content you can buy.
What do you guys think Web 3 will look like? Can you imagine some utopian future where we store all our money on the internet and our phones become our way of paying for things irl, no more credit cards?
cash would stay for criminal activity or poor people. but what cash? Would they dole out paper money or some shit? or chips? coins? I guess that part wouldn't change too much
Never having to type in credit card info would be pretty nice I guess
Massively centralised with all online presence tied to your real identification.

How do you think they are gonna tie our real IDs to our computers we use to access the internet from?
I don't see it happening that way
Does anyone have any sort of timeline as to when we might be able to use bitchute on brave? I'm not super tech-literate
Does anyone have any idea what's going on with my graphic drivers under Ubuntu (had the same issue with Arch, that's why I swapped to Ubuntu hoping it'd justwerk)
To get my monitor to show 144(If I use xrandr to set 144 on opensource driver it just black screens, won't go higher than 100Hz) I have to install amdgpu-pro, set to 144, then uninstall it, then once a week my gpu will just stop working, I have to unplug it, boot with onboard, shutdown, plug it back in then boot again and it'll work. What is this fuckery?
