Don't login with your google account. Done.

but it asks you to right? like to use the store and youtube and shit
>>
>>58987785
Yes, you need a google account to use google services - YouTube, Google Play, Play Music, Gmail, etc. But you can easily replace these. I would reccomend also removing gapps/google services to save on battery. Here are some replacements:

Play Store: Aptoide/apkmirror.com
YouTube: OGTube/OGYoutube/NewPipe
Gmail: AOSP email app from apkmirror
Play Music: Poweramp or any other music app

should robots pay taxes?!

Bill Gates says yes ...
14 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
That would be nearly impossible to implement without making it possible for everyone to cheat the system.
>>
>>58987558
You can tax anything you want, but it doesn't make sense to tax automation.
The idea that all humans will be out of work if we automate a bit more than we do today is wrong.
Agriculture was an automatization of hunting as you create ideal breeding condition for vegetables and animals so you can stay in one place and make sure there is enough to eat.
Farming tools automated the hard labor, so people could do other things.
Throughout history we have automated stuff, freed up workers so they could apply themselves somewhere else.
The idea that all humans are good for is wiping up after other humans is insulting to say the least.
Say we get to a point where everything we can imagine can be instantly created at no cost.
(We are very far off from being able to do this if you weren't aware).

Then there wouldn't be a need for people to create things, but there wouldn't be a need to buy things.

And as long as there is a need to buy stuff, there will be work for humans.
>>

The problem is that the current way education works is basically.
Finish high school.
Go to college or university and (randomly) pick a degree that is good at the time.
Have a career specific to your degree.
Retire.

When automation eliminates a career there is no good mechanism to let them switch careers because employers expect the employees to be fully trained already and bear the cost of training themselves.

Do you think if the pajeets were purged from Microsoft because Trump pulls the H1-B visas, Microsoft would go back to the good old American made Win 98/XP quality and style? Would it be an improvement if Windows was American made?
15 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
I doubt it. The management system in place in Microsoft is such that it doesn't really matter if no one speaks the same language. What you fail to see is that pajeets are merely the work force, and management is MS's true bane.

I am not an expert when it comes to phones, but I recently found out boost mobile's 'unlimited' plan isn't all its cracked up to be. You can talk/text/call whoever anytime all the time, but apparently they cap your data usage on mobile hotspots/tethering. Is there anyway to bypass this at all? I have the most shitty internet speed running at 1mb / second at best, and its more like 200Kbs a second because everyone in my household shares the same router. Halp? Guise? ;_;

Nope. It would be more realistic to find someone near you with better home internet and share some of their WiFi.
>>
>>58987148
Just upgrade your internet or maybe when your older you can move out of your parents house
>>
This isn't cable modem hacking, cheating service providers on a cellular level is much harder.

There is no defense. TI has a monopoly because so many schools, exam boards, etc specify that X model of calculator is the only acceptable one. The thing probably costs something like ten bucks to make and could be profitably sold for twenty, but why do that when people are forced to buy your product and not someone else's?
>>
>>58987062
When every american high school needs a class set of those, you've got yourself a killing to make.

I have a First generation Fiio X1. The interface is a bit cumbersome, but a Rockbox port is in the works. There's a newer version with Bluetooth, but they've changed the design of it too, and it doesn't look that much like an old iPod anymore.

They also used a touch wheel on a glass surface, which is bad if you use it for more than 3 days.

Also, I have a Shanling M2. Same processing hardware. A bunch of chink DAPs will benefit from the jz port. The first commit just came in earlier this week.

Real Desktop is probably the most advanced/useful one for Windows, but it kept nagging me with popups in German, and it only works for your desktop, not your actual directories, so I just went back to 2D. I wish Google hadn't canceled BumpTop, which was essentially the same thing but would have benefited from years more development.

who here /alpinelinux/
other linuxes can't compete. Alpine:
is bloatless (e.g no gnu bloat, etc)
has a sane package manager
doesn't have systemd
just works
is very fast

It even has an install script? Why use other Linuxes?
