I need a harddrive for my laptop. The HDD died after years, and I need a new one.

I've been told the solid state hybrid drives are good, but I have no idea whom to turn to or what brands to trust. Seagate Firecuda SSHD 2TB for 100ish dollars sounds good, but that's the only thing that has promise, but I still get mixed answers on Seagate.

You all are in the know far more then me. What do you recommend?

Also, what about installing the Harddrive myself instead of letting my local computer repair store handle it? I'm pretty decent with computers, though I've been out of the game for years, but I'll need to reinstall windows

My laptop is an older i5 Samsung laptop, with an intel hd 4000 graphics card (Eh, I'll take what I can get), and 12 gigs of ram. I do like to game, but at this point I don't think there's much higher this thing can go without a graphics card, which I lack.(so like said, I'll take what I can get)

K70 because of the REAL cherry MX switches instead of the Chinese knock offs. They're okay, but the cherry's are objectively more consistent for actuation weight than razer's copycat switch.

The black widow has a more intense color because it has a white underlayer that reflects more light out, the K70 while still bright and colorful doesn't have a white underlay and thus isn't as intense with the colors. However the K70 software is much more customizable than Razer's.

Here's a screenshot of the temperature while performing the benchmark, it peaked at about 55°c on one of the cores.

I'm cooling it with a h80i v2, as far as I can tell, everything is connected properly and in working order in respects to the cooling.
